WOW!! So clean and so sophisticatedly modern. Beautiful from the moment you entered the hotel, to the moment you entered your room. Lovely infinity pool and open air restaurant on the 21st floor, overlooking downtown Brisbane. Abundant restaurants and shopping right outside the hotel. Have not found a hotel that beautiful… in a very long time.

Calile Hotel was probably my best stay ever. The staff are amazing, their rooms are super clean and equipped with everything a guest can look for, their pool area is great and their restaurant “Hellenika” was a great value. Cannot wait to come back one day!!

Very clean and comfortable. Hugh shower. Nice and helpful receptionist. It is not in the center of town but the train station is 5 minutes walk away, the ride to town center is 50 cent and takes 10 minutes so you don't have to get there with your car and pay for parking. Free parking on site and lots of dining options around

FAQs about hotels in Brisbane

Sun-drenched & Leafy

At the meeting point of Australia’s Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast, laid-back Brisbane is spread around the meandering river running through it. The river’s artsy South Bank is home to Australia’s largest modern art gallery, tranquil gardens and an artificial beach. Just across the river is the towering skyline of Brisbane's central business district, the location of many hotels in central Brisbane.

Nearby are the botanic gardens and Queen Street Mall, the most popular Brisbane shopping spot. There are more shopping centers all over the city, and the out-of-town malls include one in the Indooroopilly suburb by the foothills of Mount Coot-tha.

This green hill offers fabulous city views and has a planetarium, nature reserve and yet more botanic gardens. In Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary to the south, you can hug one of the lovable animals, while Australia Zoo – Steve Irwin’s legacy – is a good day trip.

Brisbane is a very leafy city and one of its parks, Wickham Park, contains the Old Windmill, Brisbane’s oldest building. To the northeast, the Fortitude Valley suburb is known for its vibrant music scene and Chinatown. Across the river in Woolloongabba is The Gabba or Brisbane Cricket Ground, and nearby is the bohemian West End district.

Booking.com has plenty of downtown hotels, and other accommodations near Brisbane Airport in a northeastern coastal suburb.

Lovely city with great transport options especially the ferry service. Easy city to navigate by car and we found parking not to be a problem. Southbank was a wonderful place to visit.. the waterpark was so good for families and there were lots of good dining choices around there.

The weather is great , the city is really pretty with a modern infra structure on the river. Public transportation and ubers make everything so accessible. At night the city lights up like a christmas tree and everything tastes nice with great food and bars. There's everything to do & people are friendly, safe and happy. The viewing wheel is great value , the viewing platform on the Sky tower is free and the market along the river side is great. There's something for everyone.

Easy access to public transport. Close proximity to restaurants and food places. Easy to get around; loved the River Cat ferries! The Fire Festival was fantastic. Great variety of shops and eateries. The light up the Botanic gardens was beautiful. The Roma St parklands/gardens were magnificent.

Sadly, Brisbane has gone the way of other Australian cities.

Sadly, Brisbane has gone the way of other Australian cities. First, they made the mistake of building a busy expressway along the river in the centre of the city. Then the developers moved in and replaced many beautiful Heritage buildings with ugly high-rise buildings in various hideous shapes. A few heritage buildings have survived and it is worth getting a brochure from the tourist information office to find them. The highlight of my week in Brisbane was a visit to the Mount Coot-tha Botanic Gardens, which is just a short (and very pleasant) bus ride from the city. I also enjoyed the art gallery. I also love the Roma Street Parkland.

Lucid apartments are in an ideal location for visiting Brisbane. There are many cafes and restaurants near. It was ideal: just across the road from Southbank Cultural Centre (Museum, Library, Art Galleries) . It's also a quick walk across the bridge to Queen Street and the city centre. We rented two apartments to accommodate the whole family, both had lovely views and balconies. The two bedroom one was shabby, the upholstery on the settee was very grubby. The one bedroom apartment was spacious, well maintained and very comfortable.

A comfortable and modern hotel in the middle of Brisbane city. The views were superb. The bed was comfy. The room felt clean and comfortable and had nearly all amenities you would need. I booked a corner room which had an incredible view over Southbank and the river, which was even more beautiful as the sun went down and the city lights came on.

This accommodation is perfect if you want to walk the city of Brisbane. You have easy access to the river, the botanical garden, Southbank and the CBD. You can walk as far as you want, and use city cats to go even further. A comfortable if older hotel, but the staff are friendly and professional and the facilities are good.
