Excellent bed! Bathroom is original and as expected but very clean I thought BRILLIANT! Perfect for the overnighter to break up a long trip. Location is second to none and road noise is non-existent so highly recommend. It's a shame the café next door is gone but even without the extra café you will find it extremely pleasant and affordable. Parking is perfectly allowed for each room! I will certainly be back!

Absolutely amazing farmstay! It was by far our family's favorite accommodation during our trip to Australia. We were blown away by the thought, effort, and love the hosts have put into their houses. Our house was clean and the decorations were spot on. The house was filled with little details like books detailing Australian bird species that we loved looking through together. The kitchen was not only well stocked but a lot of the appliances were high quality. Everything was really clean and comfortable. Their little community area was adorable and stocked with a washer/drier and any extras (salt/pepper, toilet paper, etc.) we may need. But the BEST part was the kangaroos! They weren't kidding when they said they have a family living on their property. There was one in the yard to greet us as soon as we arrived. In the following days we saw all three at various points. This was the only time we got to see kangaroos in Australia and we were so excited. I wish we could attach the little video we got of them hopping across the lawn. Also, the Milky Way is phenomenal. On a clear night we were astounded by the number of stars. I highly highly recommend this little farmstay to anyone in the Seal Rocks area. You can't beat the location!

The (sole) Indonesian restaurant further up the main street...

The (sole) Indonesian restaurant further up the main street made our day. But the attitude of the manager at mount view motel was horrid. When I arrived, I could have sworn the motel was abandoned, except I knew I had prepaid booking.com $132 for the night (nett/after my genius level discount). When I tried to let him know following morning that there was only one teaspoon and no other cutlery, he blurted out "that's correct, it's been this way for twenty years!". I rather foolishly went on "and there's no face towel?" to which he curtly replied "if yu want face towel, stay at the hilton! (But) this is a cheap motel!". I said I was only giving some feedback, to which he again curtly blurted "don't need it!". So, this is one motelier who has obviously given up, if he ever was one. He's also long given up on the property too. What a pity.

We were travelling from Brisbane to Tuross Head and this was an excellent place for an overnight stay. It is a small town but it has a supermarket, petrol stations and restaurants/cafes. We ate at Oliver's and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a flat tyre and we were able to get it fixed quickly at the local mechanics/tyre repair business, Buladelah Tyre and Mechanical.

Bulahdelah was a great little overnight stop.

Bulahdelah was a great little overnight stop. It is a very small town but has friendly people, pretty location on the river and surrounded by mountains. Great coffee at Cafe on Main. Pizza good from Lady Jane hotel. We didn't get to have breakfast at either of the cafes but what we saw looked great.

Only stopped overnight so didn't really get to see Bulahdelah except for the walk to the pub from the motel that evening and a look around in the morning on our way out. It was a quaint town and would like to go back and explore.

Bulahdelah is a small but apparently thriving small town off the highway, close to several National Parks & the coast. There are a number of cafes, a pub/bottle shop & a supermarket. Finding a parking spot on the "main drag" was not a problem. I had lunch & breakfast at the Cafe next door to Mountain View Motel. Both were well priced, & a plentiful plateful.

The town is quite pretty, set on a river with craggy hills behind however, if you are driving north, don’t fill up with fuel because it was MUCH cheaper several minutes further up the highway. Pub was lively.

I can't thank Patrick enough. My trailer tyres blew on my way home to Nambucca Heads, so my wife booked the Mountain View. When arriving Patrick went way and beyond and offered me his trailer tyre so I could get my trailer and its goods off the side of the highway and park it at the motel until the morning when I could get the tyres changed. This kind of caring and help is in a shortage these days. Yes, the hotel is old, but it's clean and the service is A+ Thank you Patrick! Stephen Weston

I am a regular at this lovely simple motel. It is always scrupulously clean and comfortable. Although the complex is old and not necessarily a 'designer' showcase, it is a very pleasant place to stay and the owners are very helpful. Bulahdelah itself is a great spot close to the highway to pull off for the night and is now very quiet due to the bypass. Highly recommended layover!

Bulahdelah Motel was super convenient. very clean and comfortable. We arrived at 11am, parked out the front of the room walked 4meters from the car to the bed and kids crashed as soon as they lay down. Super convenient and efficient stay on the way up to Tweed River Valley region.
