Offering free WiFi, an outdoor pool and an à la carte restaurant, Maclin Lodge Motel is located in Campbelltown. All accommodations features a flat-screen TV. Guests enjoy free on-site parking. It's the fifth time i have stayed at the Maclin Lodge, and i could not fault the accommodation or the staff, a great place to stay, and would recommend the Maclin Lodge to any of my friends.
The staff here were friendly and were able to check me into my room within minutes. Upon entering the room, i quickly came to the realization that the light in the bathroom did not work. I went to the front desk and they had it fixed for me promptly. Overall, I am very happy with this stay and would stay again.
We visited Campbelltown for a specific purpose. The hotel was close. Campbelltown is easy access to the city, south coast beaches and lovely country areas. There are also many interesting buildings to visit close by and an excellent gym facility with pools.
Lots to see and do. Plenty of nice restaurants offering different cultural foods close by . Shop till you drop.Interesting places to visit, such as Mt Annan botanical gardens, Movies ,Theatre and clubs..
There are some great pieces of history to explore. Mount Annan botanical gardens are great for a walk. There is an art gallery with gardens, shopping is great at MacArthur Square. Only 50 minutes to the city by train. 35 minute bus trip to the beaches of Wollongong. Opposite at park central there is a great Thai place for a cheap lunch $11 with a drink on weekdays.

I lived in Campbelltown from the late 'fifties to the late 'seventies, then in Douglas Park until 1981, so I was intrigued to see the amazing development. It was great to attend the Public School's 140th Anniversary, see/hear the current pupils perform, meet the great principal and some staff members. I also managed to reconnect with former fellow teachers and a few of the pupils I taught so many years ago. I highly recommend the Chinese Restaurant, on the premises. The Pizza place in Minto is also well worth a visit, particularly with children.

It was a budget hotel but served our needs, There was plenty of hot water. The lady at reception gave me a second room key because my wife and I were going to return at separate times, the coffee at breakfast was good. There were lots of eating options within easy walking distance and the hotel was only a couple of hundred meters from the main road and a railway station.

good location to food, shopping and meets our needs for our frequent overnight stays. despite proximity to other hotel and restaurants, noise has never been a problem. Also really like the extra blackout coating on the glass sliding door as well as the blackout curtains. Makes sleeping a lot easier
