Copa is a small beachside bay and is ideal for a weekend getaway or longer. It has a small café strip on the beachfront that offers food, coffee and basic essentials. There are a number of other beachside bays in the area worthy of exploration. (Avoca and Terrigal). Erina is the closest big shopping centre.

It is very beautiful, but we did not need our intelligence insulted by some of the shop prices there... $40.00 for a straw hat, $19:00 for garlic bread! The surf club canteen was more reasonable on pricing -still expensive but much more reasonable for that environment.

Great beach - if you're looking for night life you need to drive to Terrigal - 15 minutes away. The only great looking restaurant had closed. Good breakfast spots though and a family Pizza place for evening. Its purely a beach holiday place.

Michael was very accommodating and polite and had a great sense of humour. Was very relaxing and peaceful. Very clean and the ocean breeze every evening was just serenity. Beach is literally less than approx. a hundred metre walk. Locals are very friendly. Favourite place was Bonnie’s lookout. Fantastic croissants at the cafe next to waves. Waves cafe makes a decent coffee and is pet friendly. An actual sandwich bar inside the local supermarket. All of this is a minute walk from the property. Beach is clean and beautiful with just lovely and friendly people. Woke up most mornings to beautiful rainbow lorikeets and cockatoos hanging out waiting to say hello on the veranda. Kincumber hotel has trivia Wednesday nights and it was so fun. Locals were very welcoming. Avoca Beach hotel has amazing cutlets and aren’t overpriced. Be ready for a hike up to the pub which sits at the top of a hill. Cutlets are worth the workout. Coming back every night to Copacabana shores was just bliss. Highly recommend.

Stay Away From Copacabana Copacabana itself is a quiet beachside suburb 'nestled' away from the rest of the coast. As such it is subject to the expected pretenses that go with the 'Avoca Lifestyle' Like rudeness and dismissive attitudes. Stay away from this non-tourist spot or be prepared to be enraged by the silver spoon crowd. If you must stay in the suburb of Copa then stay at the Copacabana Shores. It is the only breath of life you will encounter. Over-priced bad food and bitter hostility from locals. Will die before I return ;)

There is nothing to like about this place, its way over priced, there is nothing here, its a $65 uber to Terrigal. I tried to iron a shirt, every time I turned the iron on it shorted the fuse box and all the lights went out and I had to open the fusebox and flick the switch. This happened five times then I gave up. Each time the manager had to come to the room, get another iron and find a plug socket that wouldn't short and turn all the power off. In the end he unplugged the cooker from its socket under the sink and plug the iron in there but the lead was not really long enough. This whole process ate up the first hour of my check in. Rubbish hotel, middle of nowhere, shocking value for money.
