Hotel in Murwillumbah
Located in Murwillumbah, in a building dating from 1931, The Imperial Hotel has a bar and guestrooms with free WiFi. Fantastic Value and a pleasant surprise. An immaculately clean room that looked as though it has been recently refurbished. We had a superior queen room that had a kitchenette and a sitting area. Meals in the bistro were good value with 15 meals at $15 and excellent quality. The bar staff were friendly and attentive. Good vibe for old and young, highly recommended and will stay next time we travel through HInt: it was cheaper by $30 to book online than directly with the hotel

Such an incredible stay, has to be my favourite cabin in the Northern Rivers and I've stayed in a lot! They truly have thought of every little touch and every thing you could possibly want for. Breakfast, champagne and flowers upon arrival pantry full of little touches and the bathroom too. The outside space was absolutely incredible and the picnic spot is to die for! We spent the entire day there and can't wait to come back! Thank you so much, what a wonderful job you have done with the property. So beautiful

Murwillumbah is a great place to visit. There is plenty of shops and lots to do there. The River which runs through the town is beautiful. It has a cinema and lots of yummy cafes and restaurants. There are also cute little towns close by to drive to.
It's a really pretty town with great cafes and a variety of other shops. The Regional Art Gallery, which incorporates the Margaret Olley Museum, is fantastic. It is in easy reach of a large range of mountain and outdoor activities.
Beautiful region with many scenic drives. The drive to Tyalgum (a pretty little village with lots of shops) and the return to Murwillimbah via Crystal Creek was beautiful. The Tweed Regional Gallery is a must and the Cafe is very good.
Beautiful green, rolling countryside and a buzzy, activated town centre. Recommended: 'Keith' on Murwillumbah St for breakfast/ lunch; Murwillumbah Farmers' Market on Wednesday mornings at the showground.
The Tweed River Regional Gallery with the Margaret Olley exhibition is an absolute gem and justifies the journey. There was a great Sid Nolan Ned Kelly exhibition too, as well as some excellent local artists. The town with is picturesque riverside position and fine architecture is well worth a visit.
we stayed here because we wanted Covid options in case of border closures However, a big bonus was the excellent , massive regional art gallery just down the road . It had a full Margaret Olly exhibition, plus lots of other famous artists...very very good Dinner at the Riverside Pub was also very good
Murwillumbah
I liked the communication from the hotel prior to my stay. The owner was friendly and the location close to everything. The room was very clean and when I returned on my first day, the room had been serviced which was a nice surprise. The bed was comfortable enough. I felt like care and thought are given to the guests when staying there.
Murwillumbah
Basic hotel accommodations. Room was older than photos depict. Friendly, honest, and welcoming staff. Bed was comfortable and shower hot. I would stay again given that the accommodation options in Murwillumbah are very limited.
Murwillumbah
Everything was excellent. Again. We have been here before and plan to come back. There are sufficient opportunities to be active and entertained around Murwillumbah and the Croft is a great place to rest and refresh.
The Imperial Hotel is a wonderful facility , beautifully renovated, with quirky features. The food is exceptional. The staff are funky, friendly and helpful.
Murwillumbah
Room is a great size. Clean amenities. Well maintained for an older hotel.
