The location was perfect for a great outdoor adventure. The Barn was awesome and had everything we needed to be comfortable and warm. We were welcomed by the hosts and provided with fresh eggs and homemade jam. This is definately a great place to stay.

Dargo is an iconic high country town, gateway to the High Plains, as good as it gets. you need to like driving twisty roads, and you will feel a bit out of place if you are not driving a 4wd ute, but that is OK. Charm is in its location on the Dargo River , the walnut groves, the early settlers cottages step you back in time, The Dargo Hotel has the reputation, but a tip from some of the locals is to give the Dargo River Inn a go.
