Only stayed one night as it was close to the Puffing Billy we were going on the next day. Reception was friendly, room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfy... Ferntree Gully is the nearest large centre with shopping as you are heading up to Upwey, Kalista, Olinda and Sassafras. On the highway, it has the 3 big shopping centres, lots of different shops and a great bakery called the Quarry which does quality sourdough and pastries. Great apartment. All amenities supplied including washer and dryer We stayed there as we were visiting family. Couldn't have picked anything nicer. Every time we have travelled to Melbourne we have perfected to stay in Ferntree Gully but first time at Life Style Appartments which we now will book when we return to Melbourne, excellent accommodation with self service and able to cook own meals, with washing machine and dryer provided.
