The Gold Coast is an amazing place to stay.

The Gold Coast is an amazing place to stay. It's a fantastic place for kids of all ages with the themeparks so close the malls in every directions and the best beaches. The trams are so easy to travel on and only $0.50.

    I loved it.

I loved it. It had been some 15 years since I had visited and truly loved it better than I expected. I think staying in the quieter part of GC was the key. If you like the hustle and bustle definitely go closer to Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach. Wet and Wild was so much fun with Seaworld on our doorstep was amazing. Main beach restaurants were awesome as well.

We went to Burleigh beach to watch the wind-surfing; we watched the sunset at Mermaid Beach; we went up Skypoint Observation Deck and to the nature reserve where we saw kangaroos and koalas. Govinda's was great for vegetarian food.

Pacific Fair is great for shopping, everything from designer brands to discount stores. Kurrawa Surf Club in Broadbeach has good food and an ocean view. The light rail makes it easy to get around if you don’t want to drive or you can take the bus. There’s always a good vibe on the GC, lots of people there to have a good time and enjoy the great weather.

Location was great! Staff were great! Room was comfortable in size, beds were great too! There were a few issues that the staff were happy to address a.s.a.p I like to cook but the kitchen utensils, equipment could have been better stocked and maintained

A family week away with the teenagers so we did the theme parks (Movie World incredibly disappointing as half the rides were closed for maintenance (same as last time we visited). Dreamworld was the best experience followed by Seaworld which has a couple of great new roller coasters. Also highly recommend the Australian Outback Spectacular Dinner & Show which is out by Movie World. It was awesome. Spent alot of time in Cavill Ave eating and shopping, definitely recommend the Sandbar restaurant on the Esplanade and Little Italy in Cavill Ave for great service and food. Would also recommend the Infinity Light Maze as a great experience that we enjoyed. We did an afternoon river cruise which gave us another view of the area with lots of interesting information along the way. The beach was the hit for early morning walks (the cafes were open at 5.30am!) and afternoon boogie-boarding and relaxation. The place was very easy to get around and traffic wasn't a problem. Also travelled out to Currumbin for the Astra Lumina light show which was a fun experience. If you fly into Brisbane be prepared for long waits getting in and out of the airport and give yourself plenty of travel time!

Absolutely stunning views from the ocean view apartments. My parents were visiting from the UK and that is certainly the way to show them to gold coast!! I had bought Sky Point tickets to show them the view and it honestly was just as good from our balcony. Room wasnt ready at check in but the waiter at Hyde bar gave us a round of free drinks whilst we waited. Excellent service and im so pleased they left a good impression for my family.

The hotel is nice, the rooms are nice, and the views are amazing. The bedding situation really needs to be fixed. Very cheap, uncomfortable pillows, and bedsheets, no quilt, just 2 sheets and a blanket, and they don't stay or sit properly whilst sleeping so I was constantly readjusting them. I have stayed here on multiple occasions, and although everything is nice, I can never get a good or even decent nights sleep.

As a family who love the beach, these were perfect self catering apartments that were 10 second walk from the beach.. Apartments were spacious, and we felt like we could make ourselves at home. They were quiet too. The pool and BBQ area are great size and clean. Carparking in the secure garage was easy. This will be our "go to" accommodation from now on when we are on the Gold Coast.

Sunday check-in using a lock box. No problem. Room was on floor 3. No real view but it sufficed for our stay. Bed was really low which was a surprise, however, it was comfortable. Having the tram stop outside the Hotel was great. A very cheap and efficient way to move around. We loved the tram and train. 50c fares are a bargain.
