Woodroffe Hotel is located in Southport on the beautiful Gold Coast. It offers convenient access to public transport, parklands, theme parks and is only 3.9 km to Surfers Paradise. Our room was very well presented, clean and comfortable .... the only thing missing was some biscuits to go with the tea and coffee. As it seemed that a lot of the people we saw staying at the hotel were there for The Red Hot Summer Tour, a music event down at the Parklands, as we were and I'd like to suggest that for events such as this that you organise bus transport from the hotel to the event that I'm sure all guests would use if the price was reasonable, it could be booked and prepaid for when making the accommodation booking with return trips booked in. The event was starting at 1.00pm so I'd suggest say three options like 12.00, 12.30 and 1.00pm departures and again three trips back after the event.

Room was very nice, liked the modern finishings with automatic curtains and blinds. The bed was VERY comfortable and the view was lovely. Downstairs at the casino the bar staff were lovely and remembered the drink I'd previously ordered which was a nice touch. The cafe did a beautiful breakfast and the staff there were polite and helpful.

Loved the pool area. The room was very spacious and so we're the bathrooms with both a tub and shower. It's a 15 min walk to surfers paradise city and less for the beach. Staff are very helpful. Coffee and tea and water were replenished every day.
