Located in the Harcourt rural district, Friends in Harcourt North B&B features free onsite parking, BBQ facilities and garden views. There is a spacious outdoor seating ideal for relaxation. The host – Stephen is amazing. Super friendly, kind, and greeting us (even we arrived quite late) with a very warm welcome. The house is very comfortable, facilities are great, the bathroom is large and has great hot water. The location is excellent. Love this place.

Harcourt is small and quiet village but well located on the Calder Highway and Calder Freeway between Castlemaine, Kyneton, Bendigo. It has a bowls club and a village store, a cafe/restaurant, a petrol station, an EV charge point and that seems to be about all.

We landed in Harcourt at the right time!
We landed in Harcourt at the right time! We experienced the Twilight Market, Harcourt Valley Vineyard, a meal and drinks at the General Store, cider at Henry of Harcourt, and a community breakfast in the park to mark Australia Day. All this plus daily commutes to Newstead for the music festival. Harcourt is a very progressive small town. The Tread Motel has excellent nice priced accommodation.

Harcourt lacked any take aways or supermarkets but it has an amazing mountain biking trail centre 2km away. Next time I would come prepared with some food to cook to save some money. There is a cafe but there aren't too many options to be eating there for a few days.

A beautiful little cottage in a beautiful location. A warm welcome from Stephen and Millie the dog. Spotlessly clean. Every convenience and comfort thought of, from plunger coffee to cotton sheets. We got up early and watched the sunrise over the hills. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Great peaceful place fantastic walking and biking tracks .We went on the Vic Goldfields Steam train from Maldon to Castlemaine spent the day and got on the steam train back to Maldon around 5.00pm great two day trip.

Clean, modern accommodation with awesome kitchen facilities! Although there was a fridge you could use in the shared kitchen, we would have liked one in the room, other than that a great little place!
