Gorgeous, well maintained property! Room was even nicer than expected. Beds comfortable. Wifi not too bad. It was good on our first night but then terrible on our second night.
Enjoy relaxed and fun-loving accommodations when you visit Mantra Hervey Bay.

Being self contained was nice. Tea/coffee facilities as well as cooking utensils. Although there were plenty of dining options available close by.
The bed was comfortable and we slept well.

Room was very quiet, clean and well set up. the only negative was that the aircon was cooling only and the only heating was a portable unit.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Convenient to the area, walking distance to restaurants, markets. The room is older, but good value for the money. The facilities were clean. It was convenient for my purpose of a 1 night accommodation.
Our property is designed for genuine travelers and does not provide accommodations to people with a residential address within the same local government area.

Basic bedroom with bed only in the room. Shared kitchen and shared bathroom. Had a pool, deck and communal area which were good.
Admin staff not sighted as admin was close when I arrived. Phone / email contact only. Had a chat to the gardener, as he was busy maintaining the gardens which were pretty good.
Location good as close to Urangan Harbour, close to the esplanade walks and the botanical garden.

Very large space. Comfortable beds. Nice to have a full kitchen with necessary cooking equipment. Great full size washer and dryer. People live in these units, so it’s more like a homestay than a hotel, which is not a bad thing if you know in advance—but it was not what we were expecting. Also, many of the units are up one or two flights of stairs and there is no elevator, so you should be prepared to carry your luggage.

Hervey Bay is the perfect gateway to K’gari (Fraser island), water cruises, & surrounding highlights. It’s a big seaside city with many options to stay, shop, eat & travel/tour. If travelling around the area, recommend min 3 nights for a comfortable stay. Using a car does make it easier to travel around. Recommend Enzo’s on the beach for a novel experience (eat &/or drink) & Bill at the HB boat marina for your travel bookings. Definitely do not miss a trip out to K’gari & if your budget allows it, lady Elliot island - a hidden gem!

A lovely flat place, where you can walk or bike ride till your heart is content. We are in our 70's and we bike ride all around doing up to 20k's in a day. Stopping for breakfast or lunch or just at the beach. It has great shopping centres with every shop you need. So many places to eat, all sorts. We enjoy the RSL for an evenings entertainment and a good meal. We use our bikes or car. I cant comment on the public transport. There is always buses on the road though.

A perfect, unspoiled beach location.
A perfect, unspoiled beach location. The beach is safe and perfect for swimming, with sandbars and fishing. There’s a lovely old pier for strolling on.
Nice cafes that are affordable. The people are friendly and relaxed. Great fish and chip shops dotted about, excellent fresh fish.
The Bayswater Bar near the Pier has happy hour cocktails 3-5pm and really good $10 pizzas weekdays 2-4.30pm. It’s the best place to spend an afternoon overlooking the water.
The waterfront has an endless promenade, with picnic facilities dotted along it. Great off leash areas for dogs. Don’t forget to greet the locals as you pass by.

The whole Great Sandy Strait is utterly superb.
The whole Great Sandy Strait is utterly superb. Great restaurants everywhere along the Esplanade. Need to plant lunch well, as disappoint most cafes close by 1.3opm to 2pm...so hard to get a late lunch.

Nice for a short holiday.
Nice for a short holiday. Whale watching is excellent and so is a trip to K'gari. A stroll along the long pier is worth the effort. Beautiful views. The weather is lovely in Autumn but a bit humid in Summer. It is easy to drive around Hervey Bay even when there are a lot of tourist. There are a lot of choices when looking for a place to eat.
There are lots of activities for the whole family, the horse riding is superb!
The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly.
It’s a great place to relax while the kids play on the trampoline, tennis court, pool, bike track, cinema room, table tennis and of course the horse riding (For all abilities).
Good location too, close to Hervey Bay for the beach and Whale Watching.
Our family stayed here overnight before our trip to Lady Elliot Island . The rooms were large, it had a good kitchen . We had no problems at all, It was close to the beach and we would stay there again if we stayed in Hervey Bay.
