Situated alongside Lake Jindabyne, this hotel offers spacious rooms with a balcony. Free WiFi is available in the restaurant and bar. I stayed a couple of days at Lake Jindabyne Hotel. I was riding in from Sydney and due to bad weather, my arrival was delayed by 1 day. I got excellent customer service, with the hotel offering to move my reservation at no extra cost. I thought that was kind and thoughtful. They also are riders themselves so that is quite cool. Overall, a great location for hiking and riding carefree in beautiful mountain roads!

Just 5 minutes’ walk from Jindabyne’s shops, bars, restaurants and parks, Alpine Gables offers heated apartments with lake or mountain views. The staff were really friendly and helpful. As we travelled with a naughty toddler, we had some luggages. they kindly helped us to get the packed luggages left in the room and move to the concierge storage room for us to pick up later after the ski.

Great town to use as a base camp to access the high country towns, Mt Kozi, and the many activities to do in the area (be it gin tasting or horse riding). There is a couple of different supermarkets to chose from if self catering and a good mix of restaurants and bars if you don't want to cook.
I love the Snowy Mts, and particularly enjoyed walking in the National Park bushlands, walking on the path towards Kosciuszko (don't forget sun protection), and being beside any one of the rivers. It is central and convenient. Can recommend the information centre, the Parc Cafe (next door) and the Italian restaurant, La Famiglia (these both catered to gluten free).
Relaxed and friendly town. Lovely base for trips to the mountains. Enjoyed a family gathering at the Brewery the night before a wedding at Lake Crackenback. Beautiful walks around Lake Jindabyne and also made the great climb to Mount Kosciusko. Bucket list tick.
First we were given a shed with the toilet not working, toilet not working, no drinking water, no wifi, no heating. We paid more than $500/ day for this accommodation for our ski holiday. After complaining the staff moved us to a “ large house” at 10pm, also no drinking water, no wifi, poor heating, not consistent with the advertised information. We request a 50% refund please. Very disappointed and the inconvenience it costs us. It is out of town so location is not convenient !
Jindy is a great place to stay for access to Thredbo or Perisher ski fields in winter, and also for summer mountain bike or hiking programs. Local business owners are good to deal with and overall a friendly town with beautiful views of the mountains and lake.
Have been going to Jindabyne for years Perisher had shares in Chalet.. love place. But Siesta Villa needs a BIG upgrade. Way to rundown now.. still charge lots during Ski Season .. Sadly this trip was for a family members Funeral on Friday 11th.. But again love the area
The hotel is exceptionally well located on the shores of Lake Jindabyne, with easy walking access to the lake and its surrounds. The room was small but clean, and had a modest balcony with lovely views north to the lake. The motel has a distinct 1960s feel, but it's well maintained and the breakfast was very good. I particularly liked the number of powerpoints in my room - 14 in all. So many hotel rooms have one or two powerpoints, but I was able to charge a multitude of devices without any hassle at all.
Jindabyne
I was travelling in the Summer season and was hiking Mt Koscuiszko, so the staffing was very light on... but they were efficient with their communication, and the hotel was the cheapest in the area because they don't have staff or the kitchen on in the summer season (it's primarily for the Winter snow season hotel), so costs are low! that being said it was tidy, easy to arrange, paid online, and staff were good. Close to Jindabyne town, and there is plenty of food options there.
Jindabyne
Staff were amazing, friendly and very informative about things to do in the area. The facilities were excellent and the room was the cleanest I have ever seen in a hotel. We were very impressed. Also the rates were excellent for a room that would have comfortably fit three people and it was a short walk to shops, restaurants and the tourism info centre. We highly recommend the Jindy Inn to anyone who's visiting the area.
Jindabyne
I liked everything about the hotel. Easy to find , easy access, easy check in. All staff members were exceptionally nice and helpful. Food was excellent. Beautiful view of the lake Jindabyne from dining room. The building and all it’s fittings are a few years old but everything is in a perfect working condition , and the hotel is very clean. The price is very reasonable. I will gladly stay there again
Jindabyne
I stayed here for 16 days whilst snowboarding at Perisher. Nice location, walking distance to the lake and Jindabyne town centre. The town is really cute and all the people are really friendly and great. Efficient service & great communication by Raine & Horne Snowy Mountains real estate agents. The landlord installed nbn which was nice to have wifi, Netflix and Stan.
The accomodation has fantastic views of the lake from the living room/kitchen. It was wonderful to BBQ with views overlooking the lake. The property managers at Jindabyne Accomodation Centre were very pleasant and professional and allowed us to change dates bc of COVID shut downs without any hassle.
Jindabyne
it good location, walk few min to shopping, waterfront lake view,. fully kitchen equipment Nothing to complain about, just normal self-service Apartment , but it share with rydges hotel ( swimming pool,tennis,restaurant,bar..... ) , friendly rydges hotel staff.
Jindabyne
Like nearly all hotels in Jindabyne, it was a bit dated and over priced for what you get but to be expected during the ski season. Absolutely unbeatable location. The pub and restaurant are recommendable as well. And staff were very friendly.
Jindabyne
The Hotel has an extraordinary location, a few steps from nice restaurants, supermarkets, cafe and a public heated pool. The room was exactly like the photos, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped to cook your meals.
