Located in the heart of the Limestone Coast, Lacepede Bay Motel is set opposite the Kingston Jetty and Foreshore. The best and most unexpected thing was the Dinner in the restaurant!! Garlic Prawn Sauce was heavenly!! The chef needs a much bigger venue!! Yum! The room was clean and comfortable. It was as pictured. The ocean was a bit further away than we’d hoped so we couldn’t hear the waves. There was a small fridge and electric kettle with coffee and teas which were great. Would stay again! And wish we could return for the Dinner!

A lovely sea side ‘town’.
A lovely sea side ‘town’. Has plenty of shops and a beautiful ‘drivers’ beach. This town is popular with vacationers and might be much busier during holiday times, but was very peaceful during our stop.

Love the Coorong travel into Kingston SE. A beautiful drive into a lovely country town. Really enjoy travelling along the coast - as it does get some pretty wintry conditions - so always a changing landscape. Friendly town and people.

THE BAKERY OPPOSITE THE LOBSTER MOTEL DO AN EXCELLENT BREAKFAST AT A GOOD PRICE WITH VERY FRIENDLY STAFF. I LOOK FORWARD TO GOING BACK THERE IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS. KINGSTON IS IDEAL FOR CYCLISTS. THE ROADS ARE VERY MUCH SAFER, BEING A SMALL COUNTRY TOWN AND VERY FLAT, NO HILLS TO WORRY ABOUT, AND A RIDE ON THE BEACH FRONT STRETCHES FOR SEVERAL KILOMETERS AND IS VERY ENJOYABLE, WITH VIRTUALLY NO TRAFFIC. I RECOMMEND THE FISH AND CHIPS FROM THE RETAIL FISH OUTLET ON THE WESTERN END OF THE BEACH FRONT (NEAR THE LACEPEDE MOTEL. THEY OPEN AGAIN FOR THE LOBSTER SEASON ON OCTOBER 1ST 2017

Kingston is lovely and quite.
Kingston is lovely and quite. Robe is a bit more buzzing and full of shop but has a few great beaches and a short trip from Kingston. Kingston is close to a few lovely wineries, has lovely beaches and is a great place for a holiday.

Pet friendly motel.
Pet friendly motel. I like the place have a area for dog to run around. Room is clean and good size. The only problem is the air-conditioning is very loud. My dog can't get a good night sleep disturbed by the constant noise.

Location and staff where Great. Room was clean and comfortable and I think recently refurbished. Restaurant and bar modern and great place to hang out with the locals. Shared bathroom not ideal, clean and tidy except you may have to que in peak periods.
