Nestled on the banks of the Warren River, Clover Cottage Country Retreat is a pioneer homestead and trout lake farm, offering limestone cottages with fireplace and private spa-bath. We've been here numerous times and always love it. So wonderful to be able to get up in the morning and go for a walk in countryside or go for a fish right out the front of the chalet. It's such a beautiful location. My little boy loved the farm animals and birds.

We stopped on the way back from Albany. We ate at the Kingsley Motel where we stayed as the restaurant there is fantastic. Manjimup itself had a lack of restaurants and seemed pretty industrial. There was however a very good park for kids. I’d recommend Balingup or Bridgetown for a more quaint place to stop.
The timber & heritage park is a must for kids big & small. The Tall Timbers Cafe is fabulous and the staff are very friendly. The scenery is amazing and we just didn’t have time to see everything so we will have to come back to explore some more.
I returned to Manjimup to catch up with family for a few days. Its been a few years since spending time at Manjimup and I was really impressed by the work done in town, especially for travellers. If you have kids you have to check out the Timber Park, there is the biggest slide there and an imaginative playground. Also great coffee at Two Little Black Birds near Woollies supermarket.
Manjimup is a terrific town, the major hub between Bridgetown and Pemberton. Spend a few hours in the Timber Park for a picnic, fabulous playground for kids plus a slide that will any adult will love. All free and dogs allowed on leash. Stock up with fresh fruit picked daily on your way to Fontys Pool (Seven Day Rd) Fontys is a natural fresh water swimming area with caravan park and accomodation attached. One Tree Bridge is another good port of call (road goes through to Nannup) Good retail, restaurants and bakery. Town has deep history so a little searching reveals a true Pandora’s Box.
Manjimup is a great small town to visit. Not too isolated (they have a coles and a woolworths) which is great. A few great restaurants are here too. Manjimup is full of farms with fresh produce sold on the side of the road. Love it.
The forests around are great for exploring and the fresh produce in the farms are exciting to visit. Cherries, Apricots and Avocados were in plenty - fresh, cheap and delicious. Manjimup is centrally located to other places around thus really enjoyed exploring the area.

Cottages were extremely clean, modern and well equipped. Best we have stayed in on a farm stay. Great range of animals to feed. Kerri Anne and Mark were great hosts and were great when communicating with the children about all of the animals. We loved our stay here and will definitely visit again. Town of Manjimup nearby was great too! Lots of nice cafes to enjoy!

The best thing was the breakfast. It would compare to any Continental breakfast with any large hotel. The young receptionist was really helpful.
