Enjoy a swim in the pool or a meal on the BBQ at Cara Motel, located 5 minutes’ drive from Station Square Shopping Center. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen cable TV and a DVD player. We liked everything about Cara Motel. Room was larger than expected with table & 3 chairs. Plenty of room for luggage. Good bathroom with ample toiletries. Fridge worked well. Nice quiet convenient location. Under cover carspace right in front.
Featuring free Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool and room service, Blue Shades Motel is just a 4-minute drive from the Maryborough city center and 3 minutes’ drive from Maryborough Golf Club. The staff were lovely, the room was large and comfortable. The hotel was quiet and in a good location. I would stay here again.
Best Western Kimba Lodge features an outdoor swimming pool and BBQ facilities, just 5 minutes’ walk from the Mary River. It offers rooms with free wired internet and a private balcony or patio. Comfortable and quiet. Security is great for a woman travelling alone. Restaurant and pub available at the hotel next door ( same owners). Reception was always manned in the hours advertised - very helpful, welcoming and friendly
Offering free WiFi, a swimming pool, Maryborough Motel and Conference Center is just 2 minutes’ drive from Maryborough Showground and Equestrian Center. The smiling lovely manager man who showed me the room and made sure everything was all right.
Interesting town, with lots of history, accessible to both country and coast, a good stopping off point on a long trip and a good base to check out all the Fraser Coast has to offer without the busy and hectic hustle and bustle of the sea side towns.
We loved the Mary Poppins story bank experience, could of stayed all day! The wharf is lovely, having drinks over looking the marina. very quite, not much going on in the town itself. but overall a lovely place to visit. We have been a couple of times.
This is a wonderful place to visit for anyone who is interested in Queensland history, Queenslander and Colonial architecture and Mary Poppins/PL Travers - so much more there to see and do than I realised and am already planning our next visit! Great food choices, too, including historic pubs, more 'upscale' venues featuring local products/goods and even a 1950s American-style diner!
The people the friendly service food and the history of the town Close to Hervey Bay we went Whale Watching there The highlight of our trip along with seeing Abbey Skye singing at the Marybrough RSL that was amazing .Dinner at the RSL was well presented and delicious Breakfast at Port side Cafe was in my opinion world class great food staff and ambience
Maryborough is such a interesting place, Has Museum, Bond Store and many lovely things to see around town. A walk through Queens Park is a must - it is a lovely tribute to all who have been in our Armed Forces. Will be back to check out more of this little town
Check in very good and nice staff. Good location. On site restaurant. Hotel & bottle shop across the road that also does meals. We had a comfortable motel size room with balcony on 1st floor overlooking the pool which was nice. Room a bit dated. A fly screen door would be great on the door leading out onto balcony for some fresh air in lieu of air con. Too much air freshener used in the room, which I mentioned to reception when I was there. All in all a pleasant stay in a good location.
Location is excellent since we’re staying for a night during our holiday of Queensland. It’s closed to the motorway and central of Maryborough. Owners/ staff are super friendly before and during our stay to make sure we’re happy with everything. The price is super reasonable for the family room. Each of us had a bed to ourselves for a good rest. Definitely will come back!
Not far off the Bruce and easy to locate, especially with Ned on guard :) Excellent value stop over, friendly staff, stayed in one of the compact cabins, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, hot shower, tea and coffee and milk , right next to lovely sparkling clean swimming pool, and hot meals available from garage next door, would absolutely recommend
I did not have to ask for a walk in shower for my 87 year old mum - the owner Michael suggested a change of room to accommodate her, and it was much appreciated. He also gave permission for mum to take a cutting from a plant she loved in the garden. That is great customer service, and was also appreciated.
Wonderful Hospitality by Staff .. on arrival & departure just so accommodating:) Also Locality was fabulous with just a few paces from Hotel next door for a meal.Additionally short drive to Historical Sites & Park. Have recommended to friends. Thank you.
In suburbia, so you need a car. But only 8 mins from the centre of Maryborough. Beds very comfortable. Great having 2 bathrooms. All the kitchen facilities for cooking. Plenty of room. Very neat and tidy. Would thoroughly recommend staying there.
The staff were great. Due to lockdown having just lifted - if unable to travel, I was not to be charged. Thankfully - we were able to attend and the staff, facilities and location were great. Would definitely return here if in Maryborough.
Booked into the Arkana Motel for one night only. Check in was pleasant enough, nothing out of the ordinary. Motel was centrally located in Maryborough, not being too far from the City centre.
basic, clean, value for money hotel staff were polite pleasant and the meals were great value and tasty
The cafe was not opened due to there not being enough patrons in the hotel at that time.
Great Location friendly staff , room was very nice. Close for dinner at hotel next door.
The smiling lovely manager man who showed me the room and made sure everything was all right.
Great location and the Cabin was spotless and fully equipped for a short stay.
Convenient and easily accessible. Breakfast was included and was good.
