It's a small town but very friendly.

It's a small town but very friendly. Good bakery and new pizza place. Good place to take a break e.g on the way from Mudgee to Scone or Tamworth. The Community Centre sells jams, pickles and handicrafts and has clean rest rooms.

Ummm, it's a rural town so there's not a lot going on?

Ummm, it's a rural town so there's not a lot going on? The canola fields in bloom were INSANELY beautiful though. Like - make you cry at the sight of them beautiful. No internet reception anywhere but wherever you stay so navigating to find stuff (we were tryna get to Goulburn national Park trail but just found bush) so that was also rough. But this is coming from a city girl so I'm speaking from a place of privilege. It was a nice enough little town, just requires a bit of pre planning on finding food and such as there's very very little options and the IGA shuts at 2pm on Sundays.
