Mornington Bed & Breakfast offers luxury accommodations, featuring a library, dining room and large lounge room with gas log fire. Each room includes air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Very warm and inviting atmosphere, lovely 1940s style everything is lovely to look at. Afternoon tea and breakfast were delicious and served with a smile. Great view of the peninsula and very close to the esplanade
Set in Mornington and only 0.9 mi from Mills Beach, Sea Vista Vintage offers accommodations with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The location was great. Close enough to walk to the beach, main street and a number of cafes, bars and restaurants, but far enough away that traffic and overcrowding was not an issue. Our family of four felt comfortable the moment we stepped inside and will definitely be booking again in the future. The owner was great to communicate with and the kids especially enjoyed the Tim Tams. Thanks Sea Vista Vintage, our stay really felt like a home away from home.
We're regular visitors to Mornington. We spend time at Mill's Beach, which is generally fairly quiet, and popular with families. The sunsets are my favourite thing, we've seen many a stunning sunset there as it's a perfect view from Mill's. Pack a picnic and enjoy the view!
Fortunately we had a handicapped park, so we’re near the entrance. Quite a distance to cart your luggage in from the car park. Either up a steep flight of stairs or in a lift accessed through the bistro dinning room. I prefer To park at the door of my room instead of a hotel car park. Didn’t know our room was up stairs. Very happy to see the size and comfort of the room though.
A great variety of eating places down the main street and side offshoots covering a wide range of cuisines. A busy vibe throughout the township hub but very close to some lovely beaches and interesting shops as well as your major supermarket staples. Large parking areas either side and at the back of the main street. A good central base only an hour from Melbourne giving you access to the Hot Springs ,Langwarrin Sculpture park and the regional art centre with great rose garden. Also the drive through the seaside esplanade towards Sorrento. Many attractions to fill in many days.
The uniqueness of each store with its friendly staff is refreshing. The streetscape has a slow, peaceful feel. You are surrounded by beauty, cleanliness and friendliness.....and I LOVE seeing so many pets around :-)
Mornington has everything and it's only a 15 minute drive from Frankston but has a real holiday feel. Heaps of things to do and places to go and not far from the beach. Great pubs, shops and cafes.
Trip to Mornington is all about weather. Luckily, during the days that we were there, it was super sunny with blue sky and navy ocean. One day was a bit windy; the other was just perfect! We spent some time at the beach; enjoyed a lot!
