Mornington has always been one of my favourite places to...
Mornington has always been one of my favourite places to visit any time during the year & my favourite place to take visitors. Main Street has a great selection of boutique shops, eateries & wine bars, great coffee and just a short walk from the foreshore. Parking is ample behind Main Street which also has public toilets. Beautiful beachside city with top notch eateries, bars, boutiques and great ocean views from the cliff tops. Some lovely old buildings with informative plaques and photos of original stores throughout the Main Street. Loved the jetty and cliff top boardwalk. Disappointed that the museum wasn’t open yet again. Wonderful Wednesday Street market.

Spacious room, location excellent for going to restaurants and pub for meals. the receptionist was pleasant and extremely helpful. bed was comfortable and road noise was minimal, even though our room was close to road.

Shopping area surprised us, great variety of shops, great cafe’s and cloths shopping. We were there for a wedding, explored a little bit and certainly will go back to visit the things we didn’t get time for. Nature walks and gondola ride at Arthur’s Seat are a must.

Ideal location for a family trip, with a short distance to the beach and Mornington main street for dinning and shopping. The house is neat, tidy and well decorated with scandi styled interiors. The beds and sofa are very comfortable. It is also opposite Aldi and comes with a fully equipped kitchen. The aircon helped as we stayed there on a very hot day. Outdoor garden is spacious, so our little doggie had a great time exploring. We also had some fun BBQ-ing out at the backyard.

As previous Mornington residents, we visit q often and Brooklands has been our hotel of choice for many years - as with my parents before us. The rooms are clean and bed very comfortable. The coffee machine is an extra bonus, and the downstairs room with outdoor table was lovely. . Great beach walks nearby, plenty of birdlife, and easy walking access to shopping centre, restaurants etc.
