I loved the quiet. The sound of the road was almost impossible to hear, so I got the full beauty of the wind in the trees and the birdsong- oh, and the thunderous tapdancing on the roof of what could only be a very big possum L0L! He only scampered around for bout 10 seconds, so all good.

Beautifully renovated rooms, comfortable beds, security gates,and accommodated for my request of a ground floor room, very close the venue we needed to attend. Would definitely stay here again. No noise from Hotel next door.

    Beautiful area, great food, interesting shops with lots of local artisans, lovely walks in gardens and forest. We spent most of our time in Olinda. You definitely benefit from having a car here. We had the most amazing meal at Citrine.

    Wonderful, isolated, cosy barn in the forest at the top of Mount Dandenong. We watched the Olympics from our spa bath. Cooked on the rustic kitchen stove. You can hike through Mount Dandenong from Sky high to the village and back in approx 3 hours. We will be back next time in Autumn to see the colourful leaves.

    Stunning location, inviting atmosphere and a delicious warm breakfast every morning. Linden Gardens has all the amenities and creature comforts of a hotel, but with a warm, cosy cabin feel. It's the perfect getaway.
