The Bearded Dragon Hotel is set on 110 acres of native countryside in the Gold Coast. The property features a billiards table and free parking. All rooms at Mt. the country feel was great and the room was very comfortable-we enjoyed spending the afternoon at the beer garden-the children were thoroughly entertained as were the adults with the reptile show, toad racing and animals. The live band was very good too.
Hampton Estate Wines is located in Mount Tamborine and features a restaurant and barbecue facilities. Rooms are fitted with a balcony. Perfect luxurious getaway spot. Lovely large super comfy bed and incredible spa bath for two along with our own fireplace. Friendly helpful staff and one of the best meals we had during our three day stay was at the restaurant on-site. One of those delightful places that is better than the pics! We LOVED our stay and we’ll be back for sure.

Aaronlee Retreat is located on the top of Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast Hinterland, with amazing views of the Gold Coast and surrounding mountains. It offers rooms with a kitchen or... Everything...Kirsten and Kevin were great hosts in every way. Aaronlee Retreat was above expectations..the room, the comfort, the view, the flora and fauna, the ponies and Honey, the dog. A great swimming pool. Just beautiful.

Surrounded by 2 acres of beautiful gardens and ponds, the 4.5-star Stonehaven Manor offers boutique accommodation with a spa bath and free WiFi. Curtis Falls Rainforest Walk is just 100 metres away. The hotel has a charming character and our room on the second floor was lovely with high timber ceilings, and a spa bath. You can sit out in the back garden and enjoy the beautiful scenery and resident duck. The owners were very helpful in providing suggestions of places of interest.
Lovely place to get away for a few days. Great food options. Our favourite was Clancy's Irish Bar. We also liked St Bernard Hotel, Spice of Life Cafe and Mountain Brew. Such a pretty place to drive around. Great views everywhere. Great walks as well like Witch's Falls, Curtis Falls and Cameron Falls. The only downfall was we were there Mon/Tues/Wed nights and a lot of restaurants are not open on these nights. On the flip side it is so much quieter.
Mount Tamborine has so much to offer. Whether you are looking for a relaxing getaway or a more active getaway, there is lots to choose from. Plenty of trails and walks including the Skywalk, and various pubs and cafes for lunch. Fortitude Brewery is highly recommended for a relaxing lunch with some live music. Lots of lovely wine estates to visit too. For the more adventurous there is parasailing and paragliding, and even hot air ballooning a short drive from here.
We went up for one night. Stayed at the Mount Tambourine Motel, had dinner at St Bernard's Restaurant, nice food and wine, great views and atmosphere. Went on the Skywalk in the morning, which was just lovely and informative being immersed in the rainforest. We had breakfast at the Spice of Life Café and afternoon tea at the Polish Place.
I loved the scenery, and the bird life. Also the Gallery Walk in the shopping strip had a wonderful relaxed village old world vibe. Not over-developed and I loved the carts of fruit/veg/plants out the front of a lot of properties. Makes me want to go back.
Watching the sunset on top of Mount Tamborine, along with many others who had brought their picnic blanket to do the same, was magical. Loved the Sandy Creek Circuit through the bush, with views over Brisbane Region from the starting point and a lovely picnic area there too. Saw a beautiful pithon snake sunbathing near the pathway, then slither away into the sides of the path once she heard our footsteps getting closer. Very quaint little village shops with loads of food choices as well as cute little shops.. Such a nice change from the super malls of the city.
A great variety of activities to do and places to eat. Super shops/galleries/cafe's/wineries/walks at the National Park/mountain views and lookouts. Definitely have a car for all the adventures
The cottage was very comfortable, lovely & sunny, great bed & good quality linen, the newly installed fireplace was added bonus as it wasn’t listed in the information online but made the cottage very cosy. We dined at the on-site restaurant both nights & the food was excellent. The location was perfect for us, a short drive to all attractions. The owners were extremely warm, friendly & keen to please, the staff were excellent. I would thoroughly recommend this property, we will definitely return.
Breakfast was simple with no fuss preparation, lovely & thank you. The grounds have a welcome factor along with views that would be hard to beat. Directly southward is the Lamington National Park, to the west is the Beaudesert region and looking seaward is the skyline of the Gold Coast. We experienced some beautiful rain forest walks and the Mountain has many restaurants on offer!
The room was incredibly comfortable and had EVERYTHING we needed for a self-contained stay. • The staff were amazing and are happy to help with anything you need! (including bandaids for hiking blisters lol) • The fresh breakfast every morning was beautiful and all locally sourced • The spa bath was unreal! • The cottages are close to everything that Mount Tamborine has to offer!
Location is why we went there and could not fault it. Great area to unwind and relax. Cottage was just what we needed and could not fault anything. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Will be booking here again. Private garden and view so not overlooked like in a large hotel. Room was clean and very comfortable with even a Nespresso coffee machine.
The views, the sunrise, plenty of room, everything, we needed, the hosts were truly friendly not put on smarmy.it was like visiting some Friends we had not seen for a while. Plenty to do near by Skywalk, botanical garden, Clancy's Irish bar, st Bernards hotel gallery walk for the Artie's, lots of walks eg Curtis falls .
We loved our stay at Possum Lodge. If you are looking for a comfortable and cosy place to stay on your next trip to Mount Tamborine then this is the place to stay. The lodge is clean, spacious and well appointed. We were impressed with all the little extras included and wanted for nothing during our stay.
Very relaxing stay! The breakfast we had was great. We also booked an in room massage through the hotel and it was exceptional. The grounds were a little disappointing- but it looked as though they were having large areas landscaped so it will be nice to go back once this is complete.
The location of this hotel was excellent and very easy to get around Mt Tamborine, and driving up to the traditional Scottish facade was like stepping into a European fairytale. The grounds of the hotel were lovely, had a great lawn area that backed onto a beautiful creek.
My husband and I stayed here for our wedding night. It was absolutely magical. The cabins are extremely tidy and comfortable and the staff are amazing! We definitely will be coming back.
We liked that it was next to the St Bernard’s Hotel which had a great atmosphere and food. The motel had a lovely view over the valley/mountains. The room had heating so was warm.
Friendly and accomodating hosts, luxury beds, excellent spa, homely fireplace and beautiful surroundings. It really hit the spot for a short get away with the family!
The fireplace in the room ,the amazing views from the communal living room and the exceptional hospitality from Mel and Jilly
Fireplace ready to go, comfortable bed, spa bath
Hotel + Pub is excellent!
The view was stunning and the cottages are so peaceful and quiet. My fire alarm started beeping late at night and the manager got it sorted out promptly. Such a beautiful property.
Beautiful Room, amazing staff and the breakfast was just lovely - our second time staying and we hope to be back again next year.
Everything from the comfortable bed the huge spa the pool and most of all the hospitality and the included breakfast.
Serene. Spectacular views and beautiful gardens.
