Cedar Lodge Cabins, hotel in Mount Victoria

Located in Mount Victoria, 12 miles from Katoomba Scenic World and 12 miles from Three Sisters Cable Car, Cedar Lodge Cabins has accommodations with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden....

Our cabin (cabin 6, which is a queen bed cabin) was super cosy - the heaters were very helpful as it was quite cold in the early morning and late evening, and the electric blankets were wonderful. We had ample utilities to fix our meals, which was nice on a quiet day after a week of going out and about. We enjoyed playing pool in the Kookaburra Room, and were impressed at the selection of VHS tapes and DVDs, although ultimately chose to stay screen free for most of our visit. The views were gorgeous, and it was lovely to hear birdsong and see kangaroos on the lawns in the morning.

Pet-Friendly Blue Mountains Cottage with Indoor Fireplace, hotel in Mount Victoria

Offering a garden, Pet-Friendly Blue Mountains Cottage with Indoor Fireplace provides accommodations in Mount Victoria.

Central heating combined with the wood fire kept us warm, and appreciated the heated bathroom floor on a couple of cold days. Secure and comfortable property for our dog and cats. Excellent communication and responsiveness from hosts. The lovely bath was most welcome, though Mum couldn’t easily access the shower.

Kyah, hotel in Mount Victoria

The newly remodeled Kyah is a renovated motel, set on two acres of beautifully landscaped gardens in a quiet backstreet in the Blue Mountains' bohemian Blackheath.

This is a lovely property! They have clearly put a lot of work into the renovation and it shows. Staff were all so kind and helpful. My room was massive and the bed was so comfy - they even included a big fluffy throw blanket to snuggle up with! It was an excellent price for a clean and comfy room with good included brekkie and pretty grounds.

Mount Victoria is the perfect point on the Blue Mountains to stay. Close, but not too close to everything, both down towards Katoomba and also west, toward Lithgow and Bathurst. It's gorgeously picturesque. Quiet, stunning and the perfect place to recharge and relax. It's a small village, so not a huge amount of shops or eateries - Blackheath is close if you are looking for that sort of thing.

A lovely escape to a world easily forgotten, wonderful antiques adorned the guest house and the staff were quite lovely. Yes quite different from your up market city hotels but its quaintness and surrounds were perfect.

Furthest mountain location from Sydney, so a longer journey, but quieter when you get there. Lots of picturesque view points that are easy to get to. Having your own car will be the best way to see Mount Victoria. Not many restaurants or cafes nearby, so either cook at home or be prepared to drive back to Blackheath, Leura or Katoomba for wider restaurant choice. Definitely recommend seeing a movie at Mount Vic Flicks!

Mt Victoria is an unusual destination, not much there apart from the wonderful Victoria and Albert and a few small shops. Lot of buildings are closed or in process of restoration. It is right on the Great Western Highway, so easy to get to. Very close to some my favourite parts of the Mountains, Mt York, Blackheath, Hartley and Little Hartley, etc.

We came on a public holiday weekend so didn't get to see much. We went to RoseyRavelston bookstore experience and had a blast! Driving around Mt Victoria is easy and I highly recommend it for a quick and quiet getaway. There are tonnes of shops nearby in Leura and plenty of local cafes.

The a la carte breakfast was amazing. My partner has to take photos of each meal as it came out and the fruit and grains were all fresh and crisp. The decor is straight out of design magazines and the hotel sets a new standard in cleanliness on all surfaces seen! Paul or amazing host was both very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about the local area and places to see

It is a lovely old hotel run by wonderful people. We enjoyed the breakfasts, the dinner was delicious and there was good beer on tap. Our standard room was very comfortable and had a great bath, perfect for a soak after a day of walking. I would definitely stay here again.
