Situated in Nelly Bay, just 50 metres from the beach, Island Leisure Resort offers self-contained bungalows with a flat-screen TV. The property also features a swimming pool and tennis court. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They answered all of my questions and also spoke to me showing an interest in my holiday experience overall. For example, one staff member told me more information about Ravenswood from her own personal understanding of this gold mining town. We loved the pool because it was clean and a great swimming experience. I loved how the spa is a shallow part of the pool rather than a heated exclusive area. The Polynesian style accommodation was the size of a two bedroom unit and it was easy to keep clean. It also had kitchen facilities. It was just what we wanted. We were located walking distance from the beach and a grocery store. The boys loved the games room. We played pool a couple of times and tennis.
