Sam the owner/manager has excellent people skills. the cabin was superbly fitted out with all kitchen equipment vegetable strainer tea towels graters all the normal pots pans cutlery dish washing liquid , really well thought out.

We booked a night here on our roadtrip up north travelling with our 2yo. From the warm hospitality, the complimentary welcome drink, and great atmosphere we knew we landed in the right place. The hotel has Incredible old world charm tastefully decorated and was exceptional value for money. Definitely not a bland, modern hotel thankfully, an increasingly rare find these days. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates an historic space beautifully remodelled that's run by a fantastic couple. The excellent restaurant, live jazz, kitchenette with free coffee, milk (Inc non dairy) treats , cereal etc was fantastic.

Daniel was amazing, he was so full of history about the place. I loved talking to him. He was incredible helpful during our stay. The place was amazing, if you want a bit of character and not the same old thing.
