Have been many times but never had the time to stop. Now will be our Breakaway place in future. I am true blue and love the Aussie Landscape . have seen All Australia. have lived in the City (Sydney) the Country Katoomba. and the Desert Broken Hill. and I love WA.
If you like hiking, this place is for you. The view from Castle Rock is amazing and I look forward to going again and doing some more walks. There are lots of lovely wineries. Lunch at Zarephath is a must (as is their wine) and the wine from Castle Rock is one of my favourites. The Karribank also had good food and was a good place to take the kids as they have a sandpit with a fort.
Amazing location with lots to do. My family did the sky walk- I have a 1 year old and decided to stay back and do the nature walk as I wasn’t ready to climb up rocks with him. My 4 year old and husband and family loved it. Many more things to do but we didn’t get around to it unfortunately as we had too much to do on the drive up to Perth. Would definately come back for longer
The views are stunning from the top of Nancy's Peak. We had a lovely lunch at Ironwood Winery. We bought some beautiful wines from Dukes and Castlerock wineries where we made most welcome. I could have easily satayed a few more day and am looking forward to going back.
So many beautiful walks and stunning scenery so close to Stirling ranges and close to albany as well . Castle rock and the granite walk was fabulous and just the round driving trip down Milligan drive and right around giving you a full view of the Porongurups with the exercise was good too. Then of course bluff knoll at the Stirling ranges and so many walks if you are fit as well
