The beach front units are worth every cent.

The beach front units are worth every cent. Next time we will be there on a Saurday night. Cafe is open and they have live music. We were there on a Sunday night - bought a pizza from Otto's and cooked it on the barbecue - worked perfectly. Had drinks and snack on the patio which was larger than most cabins we have been in. The grounds are well maintained and plenty of things to do, especially for families.

We stayed at the Balgal Beach Resort, Rollingstone has a few options for accomodation, a caravanpark, and free camping but the acommodation, best suiting our needs, was the Resort. Peaceful, well maintained, lovley hosts and the grounds and beach are beautiful. Great value for money with a full kitchen as well as options to eat out near by. A short distance from the resort is a popular natural waterhole with spots to suit anyone from young families, to teens or couples of any age. The waterhole is also as croc safe as anywhere in NQ, with clear, clean water. There is a golf club with a bowling green attached and a well patronised restaurant overlooking a small lake, a great little local pub just off the highway and a cafe near the beach to enjoy a coffee or some fish and chips. We will definately stay again!!
