Located along 1770 Beach, 1770 Beach Shacks offers self-catering accommodations with a private balcony. The wooden bungalows all offer panoramic Coral Sea views. 10/10. Would love to stay here again. Will definitely be back. Perfect location. The managing team were really helpful and friendly. Also very generous. It was my wife’s birthday and they dropped a bottle of champagne on ice to our room. What a beautiful gesture. Thanks so much for making our stay so memorable.

Sunset Villa is a beachfront property located in Seventeen Seventy, 1.7 miles from Agnes Water and a 12-minute walk from Seventeen Seventy. Location was perfect. Nice and peaceful. Perfect for two people, everything you needed there. Don't forget the midgie spray though.
Coral Sands offers private accommodations in Seventeen Seventy, nearby a range of activities in the area including golfing, fishing and hiking. It is located 1.1 mi from the township of Agnes Water. The location of the unit was very good: only a two minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute drive to the town centre. The pool in the unit complex was literally a ten-second walk from the balcony. Great layout of the unit and very well styled with beachy/surfy decor. Comfortable beds and linen. Good pod coffee machine. Great air-conditioning and fans. Both the ensuite and main bathroom were quite big which easily accommodated our family of four. The spa in the ensuite was huge and quite comfortable. Great outdoor balcony area with huge table and comfy chairs and a BBQ. Only a 10 to 15 minute drive to most of the outdoor activities that Agnes Water offers.
Located in Seventeen Seventy, a 14-minute walk from Seventeen Seventy and 3.6 miles from Agnes Water, Slipaway offers barbecue facilities and air conditioning. The quiet location was excellent with fabulous views of the boats, the sea and beautiful sunsets. Spacious rooms, lovely decor and comfortable furniture. A great spot to relax and unwind. Will definitely come back again! Highly recommended!
Located in Seventeen Seventy, this air-conditioned holiday home features a balcony. Guests benefit from patio. Free private parking is available on site. It was an amazing place with a sensational view and facilities, thoroughly enjoyed the time that we spent there and would recommend it.
Bimbimbi is a holiday home set in Seventeen Seventy, 3.7 mi from Agnes Water. The property offers free private parking. Location was beautiful. Only a short walk up the road to the beach entry. Others have complained that they couldn't see the water from the verandah. Maybe it is because we are currently in such bad drought, but the trees were thinned and we could see the water, which was beautiful. The house was quaint. Nothing fancy, but everything we needed (except cooling apparatus). Attention to quality details. Well stocked. Very clean and tidy. Short drive into Agnes Waters for groceries. Even shorter drive to main 1770 beach with public barbeques and playground. On google maps, there appears to be a trail going from the back of the house to the water, but this does not exist, if it ever did. You must walk further up the road to get to beach access (it's only a very short walk). Would be cool to have some fishing gear available for guest use. Managers were friendly and helpful.
Beautiful beaches. The Captain Cook Holiday Village is perfectly placed with easy access into Agnes Water & 1770. Town facilities are accessible & everyone was friendly & welcoming. There is plenty of non beach activities to do I.e camping, bush walking & 4WD. It’s definitely a place we will visit often.
Much variety in accomodation Thought the Rusty Pelican was fantastic local fish & chips Very pleasant walk to the point and back, see Capt Cook monument Really enjoyed the LARC tour - 2 hour with lunch .... very knowledgable local operator My wife & I are in our mid seventees, very suitable for us, but great for kids with camp grounds, beach activities Almost forgot ....... Oustanding sunsets!
The tranquility and views were stunning, situated in the heart of seventeen seventy, everything was within walking distance from the beach, resturant, marina, Lark tour and the iconic great barrier 1770reef tour just to name a few, the property was cosy, quiet and very private with everything you need. We stayed for 8 days and enjoyed every single day finding many hidden gems all over 1770 and Agnes waters and learnt so much of the history of this iconic little town, priceless. See you again soon
Even tho it was older and the shower was abit small it was big enough for us and the shower was perfect and even tempered the bed was extremely comfortable. And you spend most of your time out and need a comfy bed to sleep in when your ready to come home. Also there were kids at the park but I didnt hear them. it was so beautiful with trees everywhere and quiet and peaceful.
1770 is a gorgeous area of the QLD coastline. A small, little beach community that is very family friendly. Definitely book a LARC lighthouse tour. Amazing tour guides (Dylan and Macka), who had fantastic knowledge of the area. The trip along the various waterways and beach was breath taking and the lighthouse was amazing. The caretakers knew the history so well. The visit to the cemetery at the lighthouse was also very interesting and the tragic folklore to go with it was amazing. On the way back to 1770 we stopped to do sand tobogganing which my 10yr old son loved. Great day out for kids and adults.
Seventeen Seventy is a beautiful peaceful place to completely relax. I would advise anyone going to make sure they know tides and weather before visiting if fishing or sun is your thing. Because it is a long way to the nearest larger town like Bundaberg so weather is important. This is the closest you will get to Lady Musgrave Island so book ahead. Overall stunning.

The shacks are in a fantastic location right next to the beach and hotel/restaurant. They are also very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Lots to do: The walk to the Captain Cook Memorial was interesting and we loved the Kyack hire for an afternoon. We also did some 4WD south of Agnus Waters to some remote beaches in Deep Water National Park.
We were moved quickly to a new cabin when we had issues with our original cabin. The bigger cabins are much cleaner and better size. The beds are okay. The staff were kind and very helpful when it came to the issue we had with our room.
