This property offers a choice of three self-contained cottages, one located at Godfrey's Beach and two located in the heart of Stanley. Greeted by the host on arrival, very welcoming. They had provided little extras for us including a cheese platter, which was appreciated. A vase of flowers on the table, nice touch. There was wine and beer in the fridge , to purchase, but we found this to be a great idea, even though we didn't use it. Very cosy little place with great views.

The detail in the room was amazing. Everything was comfortable and clean. Loved the breakfast with the local produce. Close to everything to walk. Would definitely stay again!

The reception people were so welcoming and genuine, the property has incredible views and is very convenient to all amenities. Very quiet location and the room was warm when we arrived, very special on a particularly cold day. The lounge bar was a bonus cosy chairs and what spectacular views. Really sorry we couldn’t stay longer.
Great nature attractions, from walk to The Nut, enjoying the beach to free penguins watch after dark. Stanley is a 'must do' in Tasmania road trip. I stayed only one night before continue trip to Strahan which was too short. Recommended accommodation: Stanley Village waterfront.
A visit to The Nut a must A must see Highfield House for history of the area etc . If your accommodation does not have a restaurant make a booking elsewhere. We are at Stanley Hotel, was excellent but very popular .
Beautiful little town. Quaint little shops and cafes. Great pub with excellent bistro. Close to “the nut” and watching the little penguins. Close to the Tarkine loop which is a great day trip to take. Three days there was only just enough. 😄
Everyone around town was friendly, polite and helpful. The Nut is a local attraction not to be missed (and once up) offers a plesant, leisurely walk with excellent views. Down below, there are several food options, little galleries, speciality shops and a wine bar.
Very quiet town with some shops etc. closing early (especially mid week). Dinner options that we tried (Stanley Hotel Bistro and Hursey Seafood) were very good. Highly recommend the crayfish at Hursey's. All are in easy walking distance. We climbed the Nut and whilst the path was concreted to the top it was very steep so be careful on the way down. Highly recommend watching the penguins from the Godfrey's beach platform as they come in after sunset. If you walk on the way back you will see lots of wildlife that come out after dark. We also drove the Tarkine loop one day from Stanley and highly recommend the drive if this interests you.
I loved this place! We didnt know what to expect from Stanley, but this hotel made it one of our fav stops in Tassie. The building and the gardens are magnificent. The room was large and fitting with brand new appliances. The communal dinning/ lounge room has everything you could need, including a lux coffee machine. We would of loved to have more time just hanging around the hotel, but there was so much to do in Stanley and the surrounds.
The property was immaculate and had a lot of character. The hosts had left some biscuits and cheese which was a nice touch. My husband said that the bed was the most comfortable that he had slept in for quite a while. A great location. You can see the nut and it was close to the Stanley Hotel. We had an excellent meal there.
We stayed in Sea Salt House for two nights. Beautifully comfortable bed with luxurious linens. Exceptionally close to the shops (highly recommend Stanley Hotel and the Providore), and a short walk to the Nut. Although the house could do with a bit of a spring clean, we loved staying here.
Stanley is one of the most beautiful towns we visited in Tasmania. The accommodation was luxurious and the breakfast bountiful, home-made and tasty. Rhonda and Chris do everything they can to make a stay enjoyable. The location near the wharf is lovely.
This is a wonderful place to stay. The owners brought us fabulous cream and scones plus the next day breakfast fixings upon arrival! Thank you! Beautiful scenery outside the cottage windows and located right in the heart of the lovely town of Stanley.
The location, although not in the Stanley township area, was close enough to drive to the township. The room was comfortable and a well stocked fridge. Car parking was directly outside the door to the unit which was very convenient.
Tracy from the front desk was so helpful and a pleasure to meet. She ensured our stay was stress free. The room was more than we were expecting and in such a beautiful part of Tasmania. My husband and I will definitely visit again.
Located in the heart of Stanley so very easy to access hotel, cafes and restaurants. Host was very informative about things to do and see in the area and provided a great history of the venue ahead of our arrival.
The location was amazing. The place was comfortable and cute! We could not have been happier and will definitely book again if going to Stanley. Host was lovely and thoughtful.
The location was excellent easy to walk every where the people are very friendly including the staff at the Stanley Cabin and Caravan Park
Such a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Hosts went above and beyond with a random request. Stanley is a perfect spot for R&R
The location was central to the hotel, supermarket and other shopping, all supplies to make our own breakfast was in the kitchen area.
The convenient location of the Stanley Hotel, right in the heart of Stanley.
WOW what a view, you can enjoy it watching TV, eating at the table, on the back deck and even in the bath. This house has everything you needed for a relaxed holiday. It would be perfect for couples, group of friends, older family and family with young children. You can even take your 4 legged fur child.
Clean, spacious room with stunning views. Bathroom has a large deep bath and bed was comfortable. The host Charlotte was friendly and attentive providing a delicious BBQ pack (at an additional cost) and breakfast.
Such a friendly helpful welcoming. The apartment was luxurious and the view outstanding. Lovely local breakfast. Everything one needed was in the room. Highly recommend staying here.
