The location, the room size, comfort & the cleanliness of the room was immaculate. No fault there whatsoever so ever. Along with the value of the room. The price I paid was quite surprising. I would definitely stay there multiple times for that price so close to Christmas. I have already recommended this spot to multiple friends and family.

Everything - it was essentially a one-bedroom apartment, fully furnished including a washer and dryer, dishwasher, and refrigerator. We were VERY comfortable and found the staff very accommodating and engaging. It was very close to fabulous restaurants, a grocery store, the Train/Subway for trips into town (and even to/from the airport if we hadn't chosen an Uber). It was a very short Uber ride from the airport, which made it very convenient.

Sydney is just a beautiful city...it takes advantage of it's spectacular harbour so well. It was easy to get around either by foot or by public transport. So many great sites to see...The Maritime Museum was excellent with access to replicas of the Endeavour and Duyfken as well as HMAS Vampire. The Anzac Memorial was a pleasant surprise...I was lucky that I was able to speak with one of their excellent volunteers who gave me so much additional information...things that I would not have learned without her assistance. St Marys Cathedral was very impressive and would hold it's own with many of the great European Cathedrals. Sydney Tower is a must see...just check the weather to ensure that the views will be on display (wouldn't be so good on an overcast, cloudy day)

The day at Watson's Bay was wonderful.

The day at Watson's Bay was wonderful. Walking up to the lighthouse and seeing the old lighthouse keeper's cottage was a beautiful view of the ocean and harbour. Eating at Doyles for fish and chips was pretty special too. Walking through Martin's Place in the city and going up Centrepoint Tower gave us a great understanding of the big picture of Sydney and out to the suburbs. Walking around the Opera House and the Botanical Gardens was great. Darling Harbour has much to offer with The Maritime Museum and Madam Tussaud's wax museum being highlights. The history and laneways at The Rocks are hard to beat.

Pleasantly surprised after staying 5 nights at 2 hotels in the CBD. Value for money at Stamford far exceeds what you get in the CBD the only draw back is you have to travel to Sydney attractions. If you walk to Mascot Station you avoid the $17 surcharge placed on travel from the airport train station, making the cost of train into CBD a reasonable $4 trip.

We will definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel to others. It’s also much better priced than the surrounding hotels.
