Liked everything about Wagga Wagga except for the RSL dining experience at the Wagga Wagga RSL Bistro. Terrible meals. Waited 55 minutes for the food and the Barramundi meal was watery and tasteless, the Pork Belly Bites were very fatty and the meat was dry. Accomodation at the Wagga Wagga Cottages 5 stars for rural location, cleanliness and comfortable facilities.
I've been to Wagga Wagga several times, both for work and for pleasure. I do really like how walkable the central area is, and there are a number of scenic walking trails that can take you further afield. There is a shopping area too. Lastly, I thought Wagga Wagga Mardi Gras was a great experience.
I personally love Wagga Wagga. It has grown over the past years and is now a City instead of just a Town. The climate in summer is hot but without humidity on most days. Winter can be very cold! There are plenty of good eating places and cafes. There are good Medical Facilities. Plenty of open spaces for children to play. You are spoilt for choice with accommodation. You will always find some form of entertainment to choose from.
A country town of some affluence. Most businesses seemed to be prospering in the main town. Unfortunately we discovered the Art Gallery on our last day when it was almost closed. The volunteer on duty was really helpful and welcoming. We ate at various cafes and pubs. With a car it was easy to get around, and as our motel was in the neighbourhood, walking was an easy option. I would avoid Lawson Riverside Suites.
Always love coming to Wagga. It has everything you could want - loads of nice places to stay, shopping, pubs, clubs. A large, very clean and modern town with a friendly rural feel. Very easy to navigate and a short drive to the airport.
The art gallery and glass gallery are always good to visit. The Japanese restaurant with robotic waiter a must , good food at a very reasonable price. We are going back to spend a bit more time there.

Old jug and toaster tripped power in our room a few times. Smart tv would not connected to wifi.. Had to use our own data. Was told had foxtel channels.. Which couldn't get at first.. then to realise it was like 4 channels 3 being sport. Not hotels fault but was a rather disruptive family staying who's children (teens) had no respect for other guests very loud. Restaurant and Cafe were closed. Pool was dirty.

Excellent motel; my room was spacious, well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The motel is located on the main highway but I had no issues with noise at all. A very good breakfast is also available (it's a shame so many hotels won't do a breakfast anymore!) and the staff here were really friendly and helpful with information about the area. I'd definitely stay here again if I pass through Wagga Wagga again.
Wagga Wagga
Room was huge, big comfy bed, lounge, large bathroom, balcony overlooking walking path next to the river. Early check in much appreciated, as was the complimentary brekky of cereal, fruit cup and juice. Quiet yet close to town. Excellent value and staff were really helpful, especially with tips on places to eat, thanks Clare👍This would be the place I would stay on a return visit to Wagga Wagga.

I have stayed here now several times and have found the hosts to be very accommodating. The facilities are exceptionally clean and the beds are soooo comfy. Decent television, quiet locatiin, pretty gardens, great hot water supply. Do yourself a favour and when next in Wagga Wagga make sure to stay here.
The beds were so comfortable and the staff were so helpful, accommodating and friendly. They went over and above to make me comfortable and my journey easeful. You can also open windows there and get fresh air, which I really prefer to constant air con that is common in a lot of hotels.
the hotel has Tuesday night black board menu Sirloin steaks for $7. very tender meat with big serve of mash potatoes and gravy. hotel reception Cory is vey helpful and friendly. if you like to stay overnight in a budget hotel with delicious meal Romano is the one.

The location was great, and the whole process was fantastic. The room was as expected and the water pressure on the shower was fantastic. I wish you could order hotels by shower pressure! The easy parking was a bonus.
The room was lovely and clean. The bed was comfy. A lovely Italian restaurant across the road along with many more eateries. Only staying overnight however you could stay a few nights in this room and hotel.
Wagga Wagga
The manager was very friendly and helpful! The location was at the quiet end of town and the heated sheets were a bonus to the comfortable bed! The room was really nice for a budget motel.
