Wagga is convenient city to stay a few days. Particularly as weather is less hot. The new servo on the Sturt Hghway is great adjacent to csravan park. The servo is well situated has a IGA Onsite also tables to eat . Have been to Wagga several times and it is under serviced in road side facilities .. The RULES CLUB on Fernleigh Road is also very comfortable . RECOMMEND THE HAMBURGERS AT SOUTH CITY, BUT NOT THE SEAFOOD .
The biggest inland city is worth a visit especially if you are from the country. It has all the shops you could possibly want and sights to see.A trip to JB HIFI or sanity is a must for me looking for music dvds.Stockup on new clothes, see a flim or two.The glass gallery and RAAF heritage museums were worth the visit. And a good array of eating establishments
Thirsty Crow for great beer , just don't bother with the food, limited menu and overpriced. Guisseppis was ok, now struggling to rise above mediocre. All the staff are under 20, so service is hit and miss.
Wagga is a fine Inland City with a many things to do and see and a river beach that is amazing for a swim and picnic or BBQ . People need to explore inland towns and places and take some fun journeys .
Lovely drive from Sydney, the countryside looked beautiful with yellow of canola crops, purple of patersons curse and green of crops and paddocks. And the lambs and black Angus cattle were so fat Wagga is a large solid town with wide streets and footpaths, historic building, plenty to see We did a lovely day trip to Junee chocolate factory, the haunted Monte Christo house and then back through Coolamon. Really nice day. Also Gundagai was interesting to stop and wonder at the “ historic ruins” of the amazing old wooden road bridge and railway track. We had fun at The Dog on the Tuckerbox stop as we have a red kelpie and she got a “ selfie” on the “selfie tuckerbox”!
Wagga is a very pretty town with a mix of country and plenty of facilities. The scenery around Wagga is beautiful - they have very pretty parks, rivers and interesting history. There is also a museum at the RAAF Base and a small zoo in the gardens - free of charge of charge with lovely play areas for children. Plenty to do and see - a charming little city.

It's like a studio cabin. Beautiful interior with modern cupboard and furnitures. The ensuite room had a generous tea making facility / kitchenette (with kettle, toaster, microwave, cutleries...) plus multiple power plugs in the room it was very convenient! The fridge had two complimentary mineral bottles and milk. The manager was awesome, flexible with hours and supportive of essential travelers and guests. Thank you for the hospitality!
