Set on 9 acres, the Bushman's Motor Inn features an on-site restaurant and bar. It is located less than 10 minutes’ drive from Lithgow's town center. Our stay was better than we expected, the location was great with ample parking. We had dinner in the restaurant & the meal was excellent. The room was very comfortable & it was great having the movie channels on TV.

Located in Rydal, Springmead B&B provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a shared lounge, a garden and barbecue facilities. A continental breakfast is available daily at the bed and breakfast. Absolutely tremendous! Greg and Marjory were outstanding, their farm is beautiful. The facilities that were provided were of a high standard, and they made it feel like a home away from home. I don't usually return to places, but I will make an exception!
Lake Wallace is a must and it has free camping. Black Gold cabins for a great feed and very good accomodation. And the Bowling club for the best beer in town and meet the locals. Plenty of 4X4 tracks to check out
We are a family of four. 1 teenager and a nine year old with 2 adults. Glow worm tunnel and bush track was fabulous. We did it in our Camry so it was def an adventure! The walk track was not too long and very magical. The road had little signage and is full of big potholes but this just made it fun! Wallerawang is super close to all Lithgow attractions. We all enjoyed the mines. The local blacksmith at the mines is wonderful to chat to. The video displays use up to date multimedia that is interesting to all ages. We enjoyed the small arms factory too. Mainly because the volunteers made it so interesting and was ready to answer any questions even from those not so knowledgable about arms. All locals and volunteers are lovely people. At the mines, small arms factory and local cafes even woollies and Pizza Hut!!!! The locals are just great people. The local coffee from the outback cafe in Lithgow is fabulous. Great to try the local brew. An overnight trip with two packed days was enough for us. However I would like to explore the bush and parks more. Great way to learn Australian and local history.
