Discovery Parks - Warrnambool, hotel in Warrnambool

Located by the beach, Discovery Parks - Warrnambool features a children’s playground and a swimming pool with spa pool. All accommodations includes air conditioning, kitchen facilities and a TV.

We stayed in a standard cabin for 4 of us, which was cheap and cheerful. It was a good size and the beds were comfortable. We loved the location, it was so close to the beach and the adventure playground. The staff in reception were really friendly.

Warrnambool is one of the cleanest towns that I've visited.

Warrnambool is one of the cleanest towns that I've visited. I can honestly say that I didn't see any rubbish on the streets nor any graffiti on buildings. The botanical gardens are a credit to the shire. The whole township is well maintained. In addition, Warrnambool is packed with every store you can think of and every one of these stores is within easy reach. There is no shortage of things to see and do in and around Warrnambool. During the ten days we were there at the end of September, the weather was good but cold at nights. No shortage of dining facilities. We dined at the Flying Horse, City Memorial Bowls Club and the Allansford Hotel (a few kilometres from Warrnambool). All were excellent. We would have no hesitation in recommending Warrnambool for a holiday. Our top spots were Thunder Point, Flagstaff Hill, Tower Hill (where we saw koalas in the wild), Breakwater, Botanical Gardens, the Promenade, Hopkins Falls and just about everywhere.

Tower Hill was a true surprise.

Tower Hill was a true surprise. Beautiful views and an abundance of wildlife; wallabies, birds and koala's. Main street of Warrnambool full of good cafes and restaurants. Plenty of busy nice old pubs. The waterfront area was glorious.

Warrnambool is a beautiful place to visit. Beautiful clean beaches, great boardwalk and views. Lots of walks to do, lovely town and great restaurants and shops. Great location for touring the Great Ocean Road and The Otways. Very friendly people. I will definitely be going back, Warrnambool is my first pick a for a sea change.

I would have stayed more than 2 days if the hotel i chose was better, the scenery around Warrnambool is fantastic. The area down at the water makes the place, we went for a walk down there to discover racehorses being led into the water, was told later it was an attraction that happens almost every day, the break wall and water views are brilliant

we had a very good time we spent one week the highlight was a night light show that was fantastic i was told about this by one of the members of my community house that i belong to and i am glad that we did not miss it. We couldn't believe our eyes when a screen came down into the water and a face of an aboriginal man spoke to us what a joy. And of course the great ocean road with all its sites.

Own car park for each cottage. We only stayed one night but was quiet for sleeping and was a comfy bed. Did not use it but kitchenette was well stocked with cutlery crockery electric frying pan and had portable 2 element electric cooker andmicrowave and full size fridge. Room off kitchen had 3 single beds so it was a family size cottage and motel had cubby house with Slide attached for kiddies to play. Good position with Coles supermarket in shopping centre about 2 mins drive away.

The home accommodated us very well over the Christmas Period. We had a lovely break away. The weather wasn't great so we spent a bit of time inside, instead of exploring Warrnambool like we had hoped. However the house provided us plenty of comforts to make our inside stay a relaxing one.
