Located in West Wyalong, The Royal Hotel has a restaurant, bar, garden, and free WiFi throughout the property. The property has room service and luggage storage space for guests. We loved the Queen Room and it’s thoughtful facilities. Very good evening meal. Good central location. Pleasure to be there.
Featuring free WiFi, an indoor pool and a restaurant, Cameo Inn Motel offers rooms in West Wyalong. West Wyalong Golf Club is 1.9 mi away. Guests enjoy free covered on-site parking. Very stylish design inside. Spacious and tastefully decorated. The fridge and kettle were placed inside the cupboard so gave the room a very clean appearance. The manager stayed late to let us in after a 11 hour road trip.
Charles Sturt Motor Inn is 1.5 mi from West Wyalong Museum and 3.1 mi from Club Inn Country Golf Club. It offers a licensed restaurant, a saltwater pool and free Wi-Fi access. Great to have the vehicle undercover, bed was very comfortable, good pillows as well.
County Lodge Motor Inn is a family owned accommodations located on the Mid Western Highway, a 3-minute drive from Wyalong Museum. The room was really clean, as well the bathroom. With regards to the receptionist he was absolutely nice with us. In addition, the room had everything we needed to cook something and having breakfast, the beds are pretty comfortable and the air conditioner worked as well as expected.
Located in West Wyalong, Mentor Chambers Apartment Bed & Breakfast provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a restaurant, a bar and a shared lounge. The location is in the heart of West Wyalong main street. Everything is within walking distance. Very clean, authentic upmarket, and neat rooms. The accommodation is different from what is on offer by other accommodation services in this town. Just beautifully set out. Clearly, the owners have deeply thought about the accommodation experience offered to tourists. An outstanding country stay. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed. Not suitable for those who can not manage a flight of stairs.
West Wyalong is a great place to visit however the motels seem to be catering for the mining industry, not tourists. They don’t service the rooms. The rooms are dated. They don’t offer breakfast and they all have those stupid tiny milk capsules. Why can’t you get decent milk when you stay at a motel?
People in the town were very friendly, typical country town, shops close on Saturday at 12md & no shops open on Sunday. Clean, safe town (as far as we were aware). We visited the Glass Gallery & bought presents, the Art gallery, the clothes shops, dinner & drinks at the The Metropolitan Hotel & The RSL Club, ate lunch at the Paragon Cafe & general store/takeaway. We visited the Wetlands(spray yourself with a mosquito repellent). We drove to Ungarie to view the 40+ War murals & than onto Weethalle to see the wheat silo mural & have afternoon tea at Fatboy & the blonde Cafe there.
Good choice of places to eat out. Given the Covid issue, ours was a delicious take away Chinese. Lovely spot to have a refreshing break after a long trip. Was a overnight stay on the way down south, hence didn't take part in any of the local sights and activities.
This is a typical country town in central NSW which was hot and dry in summer. Some NSW towns are very lovely but I wouldn't describe West Wyalong this way from what I saw. I was left with a very negative impression by the false advertising of my accom which was a long way down an unsealed road and way out of town in the wrong direction to my destination. Be careful where you stay. Check its location very carefully.
It was a great place to stay. It is just a few minutes walk to the best country hotels for dinner. The supermarket was 2 blocks away for breakfast supplys. Parking was level and easy to deal with luggage and family. There is a town park with play equipment for kids almost next door.
Paragon Cafe has the BEST pizza We travel through West Wyalong atleast twice a year and stop over for the night each time on our way from Melbourne to rural NSW to visit family. Since stumbling on the Paragon Cafe it is now where we get our dinner from every time. Everyone in the family loves their amazing pizzas and the staff are always friendly. Highly recommend!
Passing through West Wyalong for the first time, while on holidays. A nice street scape. Great setting with a warm welcome and very comfortable rooms. The chesterfields make for a very relaxing stay. Dined at the Royal Hotel, a short stroll away. One of the best steaks I’ve had. Be aware that access might be a problem if you have mobility issues. Would happily stay there again.
Sarah was wonderful making us feel very welcome. The room was basic but spotlessly clean & roomy enough for us as colleagues. The courtesy bus to The White Tank Hotel was perfect & the pub was wonderful. A few reds, a great feed & then they drove us back to the motel.
Good location, 2 mins on the main road out of town. Modernish rooms for a motel and clean, nice pool as well, Cafe next door for a quick breakfast if needed. Check in & out was easy.
The location was excellent especially for anyone travelling through West Wyalong and only staying the one night. The room, although very small and very basic was spotlessly clean.
The kingsize room is real value for money and one of the best suites we’ve stayed in. The hotel underneath serves great food too. Highly recommended
Good, clean country motel. Attached restaurant was good too
Pet Friendly, economical, clean,
