We had a vision for this place when we booked it and it delivered, and more! The only regret is we only stayed one night there as we lined up for a day-long hike in Sutjeska National Park 30 minutes up the road. Our host and her husband, who live upstairs, were so warm and wonderful, with help from their daughter Marina to ensure our arrival was smooth. Not much English with the two hosts but Google translate worked wonderfully and pulled us all together! They welcomed us with homemade rakija and shared vegetables from their garden as we soaked in the gorgeous green landscape. The apartment was spacious and excellent for us with all we needed, cooking breakfast before our hike. The town of Gacko is an easy 15 minute drive, with ATMs and a remarkably great fresh trout dinner at a café/restaurant attached to the new Kort supermarket on the edge of the town. We found the Sutjeska region to be a very special place, and Vikendica Vrba and the wonderful hosts a special part of that!

Odlican smestaj sa udobnim krevetima, malom kuhinjom i kupatilom. Objekat ima zaseban put ka magistralnom putu kroz Gacko i nije okruzen drugim kucama. Tako da nema buke ili prasine od saobracaja ili od komsiluka. Tiho danju, tiho nocu. Lokacija u Bookingu nije dovoljno precizna. Booking ne dozvoljava domacinu da preciznije postavi lokaciju. Objekat je iznad Tropic marketa. Asfaltni put koji prolazi pored Tropika vodi do objekta.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The apartments are small, kinda studios, just perfect ones for a one night stay on your way to the seaside. It is a very nice position for outdoor activities too.
