The front desk gentleman greeted us with such warmth and welcome as we straggled in at 12:30am. Our room was lovely and had all we needed and the next morning g breakfast was good. Then the same front desk gentleman help us find the right train by walking us to the station and helping us purchase tickets. We were most grateful for his kindness after the previous days chaotic travel.

    Was there to visit a clinic so didn’t get to see much, but first impression was there was not much there.. struggled to find anything to do and also not many restaurants or cafes where you can get breakfast. I did like the cleanliness and the calmness.. houses there are all great and modern to look at and it was relatively easy to get around

    Machelen has a tired and dejected air about it.

    Machelen has a tired and dejected air about it. There looks like some work to improve its look may have been started but definitely work in progress. We wandered around the centre of the town and most of the shops and restaurants are closed. Found a couple of places open. The most memorable part of our stay is the constant noise from aircraft taking off from Brussels airport every few minutes drowning out any chance of conversation. I'm not surprised that restaurants are closed! It's very unlikely that we will want to stay again in Machelen.

    Excellent location and superb price/value relation. I found everything that was offered on the website just as you see in pictures. Very clean and a beautiful and cozy place. Better than any other room offered at the same price.
