LOVED the location….about 20 minute walk from train station. Close to all the touristy stuff yet away from the hustle at night, so quiet sleep. Breakfast was good, staff super friendly.

Location was excellent, very central to the main market square. Indoor Swimming pool and sauna were very clean and are highly recommended. Staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to make it an enjoyable stay.

If you browse through my ratings, you may notice I am easily pleased and hard to displease. This needs to be said, of all the hotels I have ever stayed in, The Notary is an easy top 3 in decoration, ambience and vibe, top 5 in location and convenience, top 5 in value, top 10 in the dining experience (while still being REALLY good), but it takes the absolute first place in staff. Starting with the owners, as well it should, we felt more like we were staying with good friends than in an actual hotel. Beautiful building within walking distance to almost every landmark, extremely well appointed, flawless decoration, I have nothing but good things to say.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this unique apartment at Maison Fred Luxury Suites. It was in an ideal location for us to explore on foot this beautiful town during our two days in Bruges. The apartment was very clean and had all we needed to be comfortable for our three nights. There is also a large and beautiful garden which is not to be missed. Brigitte was also very nice, communicative, and gave us a thorough introduction to the apartment. We highly recommend Maison Fred Luxury Suites if you are visiting Bruges.

The host, Caroline was super friendly and helpful. She suggested places to eat, things to do and what to avoid. The room was simply beautiful. The Continental breakfast was amazing, especially the home made banana bread. Caroline also cooked eggs any way for each guest. Will definitely stay here again when back in Brugge.

My husband and I are from New York City by way of Brussels and were looking to unwind somewhere quiet and nice near the beach. This place was perfect. The neighborhood was peaceful, the property beautiful, the breakfast above average, and the owners were super friendly and accommodating. We also loved all the options to relax on the property, including the heated pool and partially-covered terrace, which allowed us to continue enjoying being outside even while it rained. We'll definitely be back!

From start to finish everything about our stay was perfect. The room was fantastic, location and views were incredible, decor was cosy and chic, staff was wonderful, breakfast was bountiful and delish and amenities were fab! Cannot wait to visit again in the future.

The overall experience was very good: the location is nice, calm, away from the city. The facilities are very warm and cozy, very well decorated. The staff was very helpful, welcoming and nice. The breakfast was homemade and very delicious. We were very impressed and happy with the stay. Would go there again for sure.
