Set in the Historical-Architectural Reserve Bozhentsi, Strannopriemnicata Guest House offers rooms with cable TV channels and an alfresco dining area. Sitting outside next to the grape arbor for dinner and breakfast, eating generous and tasty local meals and drinking local wine amidst amazing local views and quiet are perfect for a break from sightseeing. The room and bathroom were very modern and extremely clean, the wifi worked, and the balcony looked across the valley. The reasonable price did not prepare me for the luxury offered.
Surrounded by greenery, Stefanina Guest house is located in the architectural reserve of Bozhentsi. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi in a traditional-style building. Traditional decorated rooms, very cosy with wooden floors. The bed vas very comfortable. The rooms, the common space, the garden all look great. We stayed just one night but we want to come back.
Kapitanova Kashta has accommodations in Bozhentsi. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. At the guesthouse, rooms include a closet and a TV. Best place in Bojentsi! Very nice and polite owners and staff. The lady owner is the best cook in all the region. Must try the food there! The location is grate. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!
Staroto Shkolo Guest House is located 3.1 mi from Bohzentsi and Gabrovo and offers you rooms with attached bathroom with cable TV, tasty local food from home-made ingredients, various farm animals on... The owner, Eli, has her own farm. All of the food is from there. She is an excellent cook. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Each with their own bathroom.
Surrounded by lush gardens in a peaceful atmosphere, Tacheva Family House is a two-bedroom villa. It offers a fireplace, satellite TV and private bathroom. A lovely, completely self-contained house in a secluded, picturesque location. Large garden with a BBQ and plenty of outdoor seating and space to relax and run around. Clean and very plentiful towels and linen. Nice to have access to the pool which is just the other side of the garden fence, so feels almost as though it's in your own garden.
This is a nice place to relax and just enjoy nature. There really isn't much else to do there. One annoying thing is that most restaurants and shops don't open until 10 a.m., so if you want an early breakfast, good luck.
Great green and peaceful traditional village. I love everything about it except for two things. There are about a 100 or so properties and none of them are abandoned like many other Bulgarin villages. To have a house there has always been in a very high demand and the houses if you are lucky to ever get one are very much in demand and very expensive by Bulgarian market prices overall. For that reason mosthouses are owned by wealthy Bulgarians but they do not live here full time - you see many house that are locked for the greater part of the year and the village apreas very quite (also a positive thing). Also because of the immense popularity of the place there are many taverns and pubs. However, they feel a bit tacky compared to the house that surround them, the food was very uninspiring in the several places we tried and the service was just ok.
