    It is a magical remote location situated in an amazing...

    It is a magical remote location situated in an amazing forest.Clean, fresh air and beautiful forest of tall pine trees. Very well maintained and cute surroundings. It is not exactly a village but a remote location with few mountain hotels .Perfect for hiking to the Seven Rilla Lakes or other less difficult hikes.You need a car for sure but there are also buses from Sofia passing through.The lift is far for a walking distance .It is around 6.5 km from there.

    Very friendly and helpful staff, great car parking, comfortable bed, good wifi, nice swimming pool (a little on the small side). Very good breakfast with a good choice of different options. On the down side, no lift, no air-conditioning and a little deceptive to mention that the Rila Monastery was about 16km away...not CLEARLY mentioning that this is in a straight line. It is a one and a half hour drive..... 😔

KINDLY ANSWER MY REQUEST OF 22ND JUNE TO REVERSE MY MASTERCARD CHARGE FOR €78.29 PLUS FEE OF €1.37. tHIS IS THE MESSAGE SENT ON 22ND JUNE 2023: "I have just checked my master card account statement, and have noticed that I have a debit entry dated 10th June by BKG*Hotel At Booking.C for €78.29 (excluding a fee of €1.37) which I think has been debited to me extra. During the period 10th to 11th June, I made the fully bookings through Booking .Com: a) Two nights at Moon Boutique Hotel Sofia €174.42 (excluding a fee of €3.05). Booking cancelled and fully refunded on 10th June b) One night on 13th June at Arte Hotel Sofia €76.39 Excluding a fee of €1.34).     Skakavica hut has a marevelous location.

    Skakavica hut has a marevelous location. The path marking on the way needs imorovenent. The hut has started renovating the building, but has still a long way to go. The rooms and corridors are very old style. The service and guardians are nice though.

    Great place to stay. Has a lot of facilities, great place to stay and enjoy the day. If the weather is not good for a walk you can stay in the hotel and enjoy the spa, the pool, game room for the kids. If the weather is good you can go to the seven Rila lakes, only 20 min drive to the lift, or enjoy the walk to the Skakavitsa Waterfall. The breakfast was amazing, also the food in the restaurant for dinner was great.

    We had a lovely experience. We were looking to sleep in a cabin in nature and get a different experience then hotels or apartments and that's exactly what we got. The staff was super nice and the dinner was excellent. We had a great time.

    Perfect location, in the middle of the forest, romantic, cool and pleasant. The hotel is clean and tidy, the breakfast is varied and the staff is organized. We really enjoyed it!
