This is a beautiful hotel near the train station, but in a real neighborhood with welcoming restaurants. I ate at several, you’ve got great food and drink just steps away. Staff here are very welcoming and friendly as well, most speak excellent English and are happy to help with anything. You’re just off a main road, making it much quieter, and although I did not have a car, staff is very attentive to holding spots for guests that have pre-arranged that. Great air conditioning (it was hot outside), fantastic shower, excellent coffee/tea in the lobby, and good quality internet and body products. Great value for the price, I definitely recommend!

The room was large, bed was very comfortable, pillows were good. The furniture is in great condition. The bathroom features a large bathtub. Everything was clean and really above my expectations. Overall I can tell that this hotel is very well kept. Location is just by the cathedral. Public transport is close by. Amazing value for the price.

The hotel is very special. It has a unique atmosphere. The building is beautiful and nicely decorated for Christmas 🎄. The staff is extremely friendly and ready to help. The food in the Burov cafe is tasty and the chef and the waiter are the best! I would definitely recipe it for those who want a quiet and relaxing holiday. The spa zone is cozy. Unfortunately the holiday was short and we didn't have time to enjoy it. Definitely will be done next time.😉

We had rooms 001,002 and 102. These all have very comfortable beds, they were clean and quiet. The staff is very kind and helpful. We enjoyed the large terrace next to the jacuzzi every evening. The beach is very close and there are so many restaurants and bars to choose from. One shower got clogged and it got fixed immediately. This was a very pleasant stay and we will come back next time we visit Varna. 10/10!

    Very lovely and compact if you're staying near Varna Beach.

    Very lovely and compact if you're staying near Varna Beach. Huge pedestrian zone, easy to navigate the city (I used Google Maps the first day, and then I was roaming like a native). Loved the huge stretch of park along the coast, all the restaurants and bars. I arrived just as school started, so on the fringe of the season. People very, very friendly. Absolutely loved the beach bar and restaurant Pechkata and the Sea View. Calamar Bar. And my favorite, The Forrest. Swam with the dolphins at the dolphinarium (fantastic!) and even bumped a jellyfish on the head by accident (lucky that, but the poor sucker ended up on the beach two days later). For my first visit to Bulgaria, very positive (I mean, the jellyfish did NOT sting me, so there is that).

    From a tourism perspective, it's not a very interesting city...

    From a tourism perspective, it's not a very interesting city. It has a large park, a less impressive pedestrian street, and a long beach that is crowded and littered (lots of cigarette butts are scattered around). There are a few scattered socialist-era sights still in the city. I would recommend visiting the nearby Balchik instead.

    Our stay at The House of the Dreams exceeded all our expectations. Our host, Marieta—a very kind, hospitable, and friendly lady—welcomed us with a warm smile and had the apartment perfectly prepared for our stay. Free underground parking was available. The apartment was comfortable, with all the amenities of home: soft furniture, cozy armchairs, large wooden tables, and gallery-style paintings. Fresh fruit was waiting for us on the table. We didn’t miss a thing—spotless white bed linens, towels, and all necessary appliances: air conditioner, iron, vacuum cleaner, washing machine, hairdryer, stovetop, microwave, refrigerator—everything just like at home. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the utensils a homemaker would need to prepare delicious meals. There was also a cupboard stocked with various spices, teas, coffee, and a range of cleaning products for the kitchen and bathroom. Everything was modern and tastefully arranged. The apartment is furnished with a unique sense of style and elegance. A spacious balcony offered a breathtaking view—the sea in all its azure-blue splendor. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the beach, which has a free-access area. Along the pedestrian street, you’ll find hundreds of shops and restaurants: Tbilisi, Black Pearl, The Old House... with music, delights, and everything you could wish for. I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to everyone and sincerely thank Marieta for her professionalism and wonderful attitude.

    Large apartment with big balcony overlooking the sea and short walk to lovely beach through the trees . Outside Varna in very pleasant area , next to a bus stop or walk along the coast if feeling energetic. Family are warm and kind and shared delicious homemade Raki with us and were really helpful and ready to chat in fluent English . We really enjoyed our stay in this very well equipped apartment and interacting with such welcoming Bulgarian people.
