The property is magical. The sound of the waves and nature are very relaxing. We visited this location not knowing what to expect and to our surprise this hotel is a 10/10. The rooms are beautiful, the staff is ver responsive, the food is delicious, and the location is 15 mins away from town. The only thing we regretted is not staying longer.

The city occupies a peninsula, spanning through hills, beaches, coves, tropical vegetation and charming roads. Of course, there are also plenty hotels and resorts on the beach in Búzios. Follow the central Rua das Pedras cobblestone street and find a mix between colonial architecture, bustling life, and beautiful sea views. The town became popular in the 60’s, when Brigitte Bardot fell in love with it. A statue of her can be found in the central promenade.     The place was totally overcrowded by Spanish-speaking tourists, the prices were sky-rocketing and the value for money was real bad. The beaches were so full, you could not even lie down on the sand. I ordered a Caipirinha on one of the beaches and got food poisoning. It's a total shame how a paradise is being ruined by reckless tourism with no regard of the nature or human well-being. I will never come back.

    We loved Búzios!

    We loved Búzios! It was very picturesque with beautiful views and beaches. Many many restaurants and bars, live music, art, shopping, etc. The city had well maintained buildings and roads. We ate dinner in a central seafood restaurant called Valencia something, super tasty fish, shrimp, mussels, and squid. We had breakfast in a Doce Mel Buzios (padaria) with good coffee, juice, and warm sandwishes. We were only sadded by the fact that we only booked 1 night in Búzios!

    The place is nice, lots of beaches for all the tastes. The weather could be better. Most of the time it's cloudy, which is great for walking around, but frustrating when you want to spend a day at sea or on the beach.

    Lovely place,lots of restaurants and exciting for young people. Safe to walk on the streets and didn't see any beggars as in Rio. Our family of 8 loved it so much that we left Pousada Corsario where we had a bad exerience and stayed another 4 days at the Atlantico Buzios, where we enjoyed our stay. Selling staff at the shops are friendly and laid back, no pressure. Quality shopping as there are some shooping areas that remind us of Leblon ! It was definitely worth the 3.5 hours transfers, we recommend it.

    This is a beautiful place, but it seems more suited to residents than to visitors. I couldn't escape the sensation of being an intruder on wealthy people's private beaches. The Orla Bardot is the one exception: it is beautiful and accessible. Pick your beach and stay at a pousada or hotel nearby. Getting around the peninsula is very difficult, whether by car (roads are narrow, windy and mostly cobbled, and parking is difficult) or on foot (the beaches are far apart, access is confusing and there are few footpaths). Still, it was well worth the visit just for the beautiful beaches.

    Everything was perfect. The rooms and the service was incredible. I had to do a work call at 5:30am one day. The sweetest waiter (I believe his name was Vinicius) brought me out a coffee and a little biscuit unprompted as soon as he saw me. He was wonderful! As was the female waitress and the brilliant reception staff, such as Gabriel. We honestly had the best trip here - one of my favourite hotels I have ever stayed in. The view over the bay was stunning and we would have cocktails at night in the heated pool, looking out over the bay.

Location excellent but best of all is the staff who all give their best best effort to make you feel welcome and happy throughout your stay. Make sure you try the restaurant too, one of the best in town. The management are a credit to this little place, they run it to perfection.
