The staff went way way out of the way to prepare special foods to accommodate my dairy and nut allergies. The Hotel’s team was very organized and professional. The location was very fun where we could go from a beautiful pristine quiet beach to the other side of the property and jump on the ferry to Porto Seguro where things were exotic & energetic.

Location and the beach are amazing. The hotel is old and the main areas are fine but the rooms need renovation. Gardens and main pool area are great even though the pool needs to be cleaned more often. Value for money could be better considering rooms need to be renovated.

The beach areas were great during the day and the night life was fantastic. Easy to get around and we all felt very safe in any part of the city. We will definitely revisit Arraial d'Ajuda in the future. Really enjoyed every minute in this great little town.

A gem of a place.
A gem of a place. High quality. A mixture of modern luxury and very old colonial Brazil with great beaches. Beware the blazing sun however. You arrive on a "balsa", a floating brige/ferry that takes cars and foot passengers. As always, speaking Portuguese helps enormously in Brazil.

Staff is awesome (shout out to Daia on the bar, and the 2 gentle breakfast ladies). Location is excellent, very near to the main street (Rua do Mucugê) with many excellent restaurants and bars. Also near to Mucuge beach (short ˜150m walk). Food at the hotel restaurant is also great. And the view to the ocean is breath taking. Shower and bed are also excellent in the room, which was sparkling clean. And talk about breakfast! Very nice with the option of having fresh handmade options like tapiocas, omeletes, scrambled eggs, etc. at request.

It's one of the quietest spots and the sea is calm. It's definitely the set up to look for if you want to stay away from crowded hotels and if you want to be in a safe place. Staff are helpful and there for you if you need them. Mini market walkable distance away.(5mins) The pool is perfect and sun hits it all day long. Great place for families! I'll be back soon

The hotel is very beautifully built And made for relaxing while being a short walk to mucuge street and mucuge beach.we also walked to the eco park and pitanga and taipe beaches! While at your stay you get both an amazing breakfast and a late afternoon coffee and cake hour! Lastly as the name states you get to see the sagui monkeys close up and the staff will even give you bananas to feed them by hand! Facilities were very cleanly and with 24/7 security and only 8 rooms we felt very very safe!

We really appreciated that we could stay at the resort & use the facilities after checkout. Before leaving the hotel we had the opportunity to take a shower before our long haul flight.
