it's a family house and the family is so friendly and kind. the room was humble, but comfortable -- has everything you need in good supply (only thing missing was shampoo and conditioner), but it had great unexpected amenities like Netflix streaming, amazing, strong air conditioning, hot, strong shower, and well-stocked fridge with water, soda, and juice. Very good cleaning everyday. superb value for the price. Maria did my laundry for free, which is also amazing!! and there was hot coffee available every morning. the family even invited me to join their early Christmas celebration and eat dinner and dessert with them. I'm so thankful for their hospitality!!

It was just what I needed. I was concerned about the lack of staff at the location but it all went well.

David is an amazing host. Very kind, helpful, and human. I got sick and he went out of his way to buy me lots of fruits and medicines and refused to get paid for it. I felt at home. He is also very chatty and ready to give you any info you need about your stay. The room is extremely clean. I was so surprised to come back from Salvador without any mosquito bites, which had never happened to me in the past. His place has a certificate for being disease free (yellow fever etc.) I highly recommend this place. Thank you David for being an angel.

Right in front of the beach. The terrace is open regardless of what room you choose and it has a lovely view. Not the quietest so only book if you want to be close to Porto beach. Super clean rooms and friendly staff. We had breakfast on the terrace and it was a great start to our day. Lots of restaurants around! Would definitely recomend!
