This place is a hidden gem. The staff is SO NICE. I had a flight early the day I left (on Easter, no less), and they prepared a little breakfast for me so that I had something to eat (my flight was way before breakfast started). The napkin was even folded in the shape of a rabbit! And it was absolutely pouring that day, and the nice guy working the desk walked me to the taxi holding an umbrella for me. Everyone went way above and beyond.

From start to finish, the staff were hospitable, giving advice on what to see and arranging excursions. The breakfast is home made with care and delicious. The space is like no other, spanning historical accents, the vibrant fauna-flora of Brazil, and a country-like feeling in our room. You will not meet an owner with a wider smile, better sense of humor, and finer generosity than Arantes. I would return any time.
