My husband and I cycled from Quebec City to Montreal and our route took us to Durham-Sud where we were lucky to find wonderful accommodations with the best hosts anywhere. Since I was more tired the host Patrice picked me up in Richmond, and then created a gourmand meal for dinner (there is nothing close for dinner if you are cycling) and an incredible breakfast with excellent coffee. Everything was from their garden or were obtained locally (the cheese and beer), and we had an enjoyable conversation with Gaetan who served the meal. Everything was thoughtfully considered in the rooms with excellent bathing and sleeping arrangements, and the farmhouse is really charming in a beautiful and bucolic setting. Truly wonderful!
