Everything was great. From the location to the grounds, it was a beautiful place to be. The restaurant on the premises was excellent and very family friendly.

A recently renovated bed and breakfast in Victoria, Illuminati Guest House offers outdoor fireplace, parking on-site, and sports facilities.

Comfy , clean, modern, well equipped , bedroom and communal kitchen /eating area in family home basement. bedroom smallish with no view as high windows, but with fabulous pool, hot tub and relaxing tasteful garden areas. Sharing a bathroom with potentially 6 guests would not be good, and make it a bit pricey for a very upmarket hostel . . But I was fortunate to be the only guest, and it was just wonderful. Out of town ,so quiet, and on a fast half hour frequent bus link to Victoria.

It's a beautiful spot a few kilometers climb up a mountain very close to Jordan River. I got there at night in a pouring rain, and my Toyota Corolla rental was hydroplaning on the highway, but the road to this cabin drains really well and I had no trouble. I arrived without food and was dreading the long drive in the rain at night to Sooke, and as I was getting in my car, the owner Roman approached me and offered to make me a meal. Saved! Really nice guy.
