The updates to the room were nice. It had an overall cottage-like feel with the exposed brick. Large, updated bathroom. Upon arrival the room was nice a clean. The staff was also very nice whenever we interacted with them.

Staff, owners, and facilities were top rate. We really enjoyed them all. The only downside was small bathroom, but as the Inn was an old house remodeled by the current owners, they have done an amazing job. The interior’s of the main house and the rooms is first rate. Owners Steve and John are very friendly, and as was all of the staff. The location couldn’t be better.
Gananoque is always so lovely! It was a little sleepy with not much going on in April (compared to summer). Love Joel Stone park. Fun to check out the flea market, and boutiques. There is a great forested area near the marina we walked in, but no official trails. I wish City cruises took the opportunity to run cruises the weekend we were there (only ran a cruise in eclipse Monday, and following weekend even though a lot of visitors in town this weekend for eclipse). Great indian restaurant (1000 curries) on King street, and enjoyed great sunset views from Muskie Jack Pub.

Wonderful little town.
Wonderful little town. People are friendly and the place is clean. They take great care of their corner of the world. Beautiful facilities and parks. Small downtown had plenty of shops & restaurants, Sidewalks were clear and well kept. We had a great time and will return in the summer when the season is really humming.

The breakfast was inadequate.
The breakfast was inadequate. There were NO cereals and NO fruit. Breakfast came ALL ON ONE PLATE-including the toast! Coffee came IN A MUG!. Tea was hot water in a pot with a teabag sitting on top! I had brought porridge (oatmeal) with me but I wasn't allowed to get it cooked for me, or put it myself into a microwave.

Lovely little town to explore for couple of days.
Lovely little town to explore for couple of days. Scenic location and great walks. Boat trips couple of minutes walk away. Interesting free museum to visit. We were there in mid Sept and place was very much winding down . Limited choice of boat trips , boat museum closed and many cafes/shops closed.

First and foremost, the natural beauty of Gananoque is simply breathtaking. Nestled amidst the stunning Thousand Islands region, the charm of Gananoque extends beyond its natural wonders. The town itself is a delightful blend of historic architecture, quaint shops, and friendly locals. One of the standout experiences in Gananoque is, of course, the boat tour through the Thousand Islands. Cruising through these emerald waters while learning about the history and folklore of the area is an unforgettable adventure. In conclusion, my visit left me with cherished memories.

Incredible waterfront and beach, artsy downtown with nice restaurants historic feel good shopping and parks. Cute marina. Bike friendly, lots to do. Good coffee. Good place to bring kids. Hiking trails around town, lots of public washrooms. Would definitely go back with kids in summer. The beach is tiny but beautiful with playground, washrooms. Splash pad and soft sand.
Homely guesthouse run by a lovely friendly family who went out of their way to make ours a comfortable stay. Our room with 2 king beds was huge, the biggest room I've ever stayed in! Beds were very comfortable. The breakfast is served in a huge dining room and consists of a good continental selection + cooked to order eggs/bacon/sausages/pancakes. Location wise it is 10 minutes drive out of Gananoque and close to the water, absolutely beautiful setting though all the access points nearby are private properties.
We enjoyed Ruby Manor completely and without exception. The house was built in 1905, and it maintains a lot of the original details. Our room was comfy and clean and quiet. Our hosts Brenda and Mike were both wonderful and completely accommodating. Their breakfast was 5-star ... delicious and more than enough to eat. The location is great ... just a 3-5 minute walk into town. For less than the price of a plain-Jane, chain hotel, Ruby Manor is also a bargain. We highly recommend it.
This was my first time at B&B ever and it exceeded my expectations. The house was beautiful, the breakfast that our host prepared was absolutely delicious and served in such a beautiful setting. The place was so close to downtown Gananoque, as well as the cruises. It was quiet and our room even though small, it was so comfy and we slept so well. Our host Michelle was so kind and did everything to make us feel welcomed, I will for sure come back again!
Lovely B&B well located for ease of walking to most parts of the town. Lovely hosts (Nathalie, Patrick & Justine) who were gracious and accommodating for everything. The breakfast was exceptional, much better than you would find in hotels or restaurants and the seating area was cozy for visitors. Room was clean and all amenities were available as required. Very nice accommodation run by lovely people.
Room had mold on the walls, room smelt musty. We did get a refund from the hotel for our stay , however because we booked through bookings.com we did not get back the portion we paid through the booking with booking.com.
So the hotel did there due diligence, however your kinda stuck if you don’t like a property as this booking site won’t refund you if you had a terrible experience.
The room was lovely, although in the attic with lots of steep stairs to reach it. My friend and I are in our 80s.
The Inn was a gorgeous Victorian mansion restored lovingly and very comfortable. In a nice part of Gananoque, with easy reach of the main downtown and boat trip area. Mini champagne bottle each morning
Breakfasts were excellent and tailored to your likes / dislikes.
Location is very good - short walk to waterfront and restaurants.
The hosts are well informed on the town and area in general and offered good advice.
The hosts are very accommodating - could not have done more to make you feel welcome.
Beautiful B&B right off the main street in Gananoque!
The owners are absolutely wonderful and very helpful.
The room was spacious and clean. Ample parking available.
Surprisingly, when you walk in, the hotel is very clean and has been renovated. The room was very comfortable and generally very clean. Breakfast was excellent.
Lovely hosts. Really clean room, very spacious. Felt like a 5 star hotel on how big the place was. Hosts are warm and friendly and just a great vibe overall.
