Marie was a wonderful hostess who greeted us with freshly baked apple and cranberry crumble and tea. It was a very cosy and comfortable stay with such a welcoming atmosphere. The house itself is very inviting with lovely big rooms. Our accommodation exceeded our expectations then at breakfast we were wowed again by Marie’s homemade banana cake cooked that morning. We could smell the baking as we got ready and couldn’t wait to see what delights were waiting for us. Breakfast was perfect and the fact Marie puts a loving touch on everything she does just makes your stay even better. We would highly recommend a stay here. We were sad to leave and if we hadn’t scheduled our road trip we would have gladly have stayed another night or more.
