There was loads of room for me and my group of friends so everyone could be comfy and "have a little space" if they needed it. The view was gorgeous -- and the hot tub was a lovely bonus!

We did not expect breakfast. We were on strict keto diet so we brought in our own food. There was a fully equipped kitchen and dining room. The best part of the place was the large private deck with a peekaboo view of the ocean, and a large hot tub. They provided plenty of towels and robes. Perfect place for a girl's 'catch up' getaway. Liquor store and grocery store only 10 minutes away. Grasshopper pub was close by. Best view I have ever seen from a restaurant. Great service there. Many places to hike and go for a swim (ocean and lakes). Spa on premises if you like massages. Attached photos are from ocean & lake parks a short drive away.

This is a wonderful hidden gem in the Sunshine Coast. An excellent for families with toddlers with lots of space, bunk beds and open outdoor spaces.
We had a lovely belated anniversary trip to the Sunshine Coast and the Enchanter Ocean View Suites was perfect for our stay. We loved the location, the very friendly owners, Shelley and Peter, and the hot tub! They had wonderful advice for the best places to hike and eat. Our room was a bit smaller than I'd pictured but it is because the house is the shape of a geodesic dome! We highly recommend this accommodation.
There was very little to see or do there in the winter time. We had to drive 30km to get to a restaurant to eat. There were 2 restaurants at Madeira Park, a Japanese one and a Mexican one. They were not open for the first two nights. The pub closest to the Sunshine Resort called the Grasshopper Pub, was closed and will be for the next 3 months. There is no where to walk unless you drive to a walk. I had to walk on the shoulder of the highway to get exercise. The view of the Bay is gorgeous. If you are a kayaker or fisher person, you will love it. If you just want peace and quiet and a place to relax, this is your place.
We ended up changing our room to include a bbq, and an area for the grandkids to play all with a spectacular and amazing view!! Everything was perfect, my only suggestion would be to add a few extra utensils i.e. scissors, cheese grater and to mention they use a Keurig Coffee Maker - we brought coffee grounds ha!. Would highly recommend this Resort, close to Maderia Park for groceries, kids playground and more.
It was a great area for little drives to several beach access points and centrally located between Egmont and Sechelt. The beaches are better suited to combing and exploration that sunbathing. There are several places to picnic and beautiful walks through rolling hills. Skookumchuck is definitely worth the hike for those who can manage intermediate to difficult hiking. The last kilometer is particularly difficult with steep climbs over roots and rock. The hike itself is spectacular and the narrows are an amazing natural phenomenon.
BEAUTIFUL!!! So, this park was great. It wasnt hard at all, as it was fairly level ground 85% of the way. The trails were well maintained, with great lookout points throughout. I really enjoyed all the plaques along the entire route telling some history, animals that are found in the area & also trees, vegetation & unique things throughout. I would highly recommend this trail, as it does take you out to the ocean. Those views & breeze make it worth it alone. There are many spots to stop - benches littered throughout, cool view points & closer to the end, there are plenty of rock beaches to sit on & soak up the sun. We brought a small lunch for the hike, which we ate at the end of the trail where we soaked up the sun. Wonderful hike with rich history! Loved it-
Madeira Parks is a small quaint town, but a car is definitely a must to get around ... It's central to the area which makes it easier to explore the area. The Burger Stand was wonderful! My biggest problem was finding public facilities as many have been closed for public use (due to COVID). The other small issue is the waits at ferry terminals due to the ferry schedule connections not being very synchronized.
