This Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario Georgian mansion inn features a private vineyard. Guest rooms include free Wi-Fi and a fireplace. The Niagara on the Lake Golf Club is minutes from the inn. The staff were fantastic and so friendly. On arrival, we were greeted with a glass of sparking rosé which was a pleasant surprise and nice touch. Our room exceeded our expectations. It was huge and we had a beautiful view. The bed was very comfortable, good coffee machine, it was clean and had a fireplace. We went to Peller Estate for a wine tour which is a quick walk (you can see it from Riverbend Inn!) and it was fabulous. We came back and watched the sunset on the Riverbend Inn patio with a glass of wine overlooking the vineyards. It was spectacular. We then had a delicious dinner in the restaurant (special shout-out to our wonderful server who, I think, was called Taylor!?). Overall, it was one of the most memorable stays I’ve ever had and I can’t wait to return with family.

I loved proximity to large outlet mall and the town of NOTL. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and beds very comfortable. Pool and hot tub nice at night very quiet not over crowded before Easter weekend. Would go back for sure.
A very nice, old, historic village. Lots of boutique style stores and restaurants. Town has a nice, friendly, old charm. It is very clean and very walkable plus you are not-too-far away from Niagara Falls (15 minutes) if you are looking for some more excitiement. Lots of vineyards, as well as distilleries and cideries too, in the area and you could spend many more days to see them all. My wife and I love the area and will be coming back in the future. Good food in town. Dinner: Irish Harp, Corks Breakfast: Stage Coach, Sunset Grill
Thoroughly enjoyed the area. Lots to see and do. Will definitely return to the area. Fantastic tasting tours of Wayne Gretzky winery. Also a wonderful restaurant in Virgil just around the corner from the winery, do not miss the "Bricks and Barley" . The best gluten free restaurant menu ever!
We visit NOTL on a regular basis and have stayed at many establishments over the years. It was our first time staying at Luisa’s and we throughly enjoyed it. The town for us as always been a treat to visit, shop in and enjoy wonderful meals at their many eating establishments.
we had tickets for shaw festival the next day, we strolled the quaint shops, walked to angel inn for the best guinness and steak pie around, strolled the streets at night to see the gorgeous homes and lights, no worries of harm, the best weekend to enjoy cold nights, the school house is a must to visit, from the history and accommodations, i will skip the over priced vintage hotels from now on, are place was 1 minute walk to main hub of town.
Beautiful town. Kind people. Good food. We felt safe especially due to the precautions in place for COVID. Favorite spots were the many shops but the hat shops especially. We ate at several nice pubs and restaurants: the restaurant (“Sunshine”something) was especially accommodating. Getting around, we parked our car at the inn and just walked. WHEN we visit again we will visit the vineyards and famous wine shops. Not enough time to do that this visit.

They say that Niagara-on-the-Lake offers more than 200 B&B’s. We obviously hit upon one of the best in the Explorer House. With its ideal location; beautifully landscaped grounds and hosts, Deanna and Alec, attuned to every detail. Each guest room transports you to a far away and exotic location thanks to the keen perspective of Deanna & Alec. And breakfasts! Each morning offers an adventure in flavor, texture, color and great test. (makes me hungry)

Upon arriving at La Maison de Sophie, we were greeted by the hosts Sophie and Gil, and immediately felt at home. That feeling never changed the whole time we were there. They are welcoming and accommodating and provided ideas for activities and wineries to visit. Breakfasts were a delight. We have stayed at different B&Bs in Niagara-on-the-Lake in the past but now will only stay at La Maison de Sophie.
Niagara-on-the-Lake
Fabulous B&B. Beautiful home, comfortable room, extremely welcoming and accommodating host, delicious food. Easy walk to downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake (about 10 minute walk, some uphill so not good for someone with mobility issues). Would highly recommend and will look forward to staying again. I have stayed in many B&B’s and this one ranks among the best.

The location of 124 on Queen is truly unbeatable. just over all the shops along the main part of town, the hotel rooms are spacious, clean, cute and so comfortable. Also the restaurant is fabulous and there is a tiny Starbucks in the lobby for morning coffee. The perfect weekend stay.
Well maintained vintage accommodation adjacent to an historic hotel. Spectacularly clean, quiet and comfortable. Off the beaten track and yet just steps away from the Niagara Parkway. Debra is fun and exceptionally helpful. This was our second stay and we will be back.

The Hotel is a preferred location and easy to access all amenities , we often stay at Prince of Whales it is one of our favorite couples getaway spots. Romantic as well as beautiful. The dinning and service excellent. Even with covid restrictions.

Sandra served delicious fruit and home-baked muffins with a lovely cooked meal that was different every day. The location was perfect - between the town of Niagara on the Lake and Niagara Falls. Great biking options.
Very nice and helpful staff, ready with tips of what’s opened or not these days, best takeout places, let us use lobby after checking out. Hotel was super clean.

Spotlessly clean accommodation in tranquil surroundings. Excellent location for visiting Niagara on the lake and Niagara Falls.
The staff, the room, the cleanliness. It was the best hotel during our 5 day trip going south of the border.
The bathroom was the best bathroom out of all the hotels we stayed in and the breakfast was very good too.
Location of hotel is close to Highway and Niagara on the Lake and also Niagara falls.
