You are doing a disservice to your clients by not posting current Reviews. Positive reviews from over a year ago are not representative of the current status and people like ourselves booked this facility with inappropriate old reviews. Don't ask for a review if you are going to bury it.
The owner is as friendly and welcoming. The grounds were beautiful and tranquil. The dinner menu was seasonal and tasty. I was glad to see that they offered local wines and ciders, both of which I tasted. It was a very restful visit. I look forward to returning in the future.
It was exactly what we needed. Peace and quiet! The Inn is well maintained, pride in ownership. Brenda was a gracious hostess to even decorating our table for valentines dinner, so special! Thank you for a great stay!!
We were welcomed very warmly, by our first names.. by Brenda, the owner.. with just enough reserve. She made sure to explain everything and was eager to know our preferences for meals etc. but it also felt very relaxed and homey. We loved that we could walk down to the lakeshore in 5 mins or so, and the Inn's garden & the gazebo are very special--we sat there till the sun had almost disappeared, on the first day of summer. It's only a bit sad that there are no rooms that overlook the Inn's beautiful garden, but we understood that the owners worked with what they had, i.e. the original building's design. The slopped ceilings were a bit low for my 6 foot+ tall husband, though were at the same time a part of the quaint look of the rooms.
Our experience was excellent. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our camping pod and it was solved immediately. The Burning Kiln Winery was another great addition to our itinerary. The hiking/biking trails are very well maintained. Breakfast was very tasty and beat my expectations for a complimentary meal.
Norma dale is a quaint village with a historical background which I find very interesting. The food at the Inn is excellent. There is lots to do and see except we were too early in the season- I would reccomend mid May to Sept
