    Really love Penticton!

Really love Penticton! Lakes on both sides plus a lazy river you can rent floats on and enjoy floating down the river for a few hours. Great mix of food options plus all the regular summer lake activities.

It's a fun city year-round and beautiful down by the beach, especially up by Okanagan Lake where there is an excellent walkway. Lots of fun shops, love the small museum at the library, and an interesting art gallery. Plenty of great places to eat if you are gluten free/dairy free. Even vegan! Many hiking trails for all levels.

I love the many interesting shops in Penticton.

I love the many interesting shops in Penticton. I also like the beach, more for the view than for swimming. There are lovely gardens, a great art gallery, fantastic food for dairy-free/gluten-free including Gratify (on Main Street) and Dosa Vilas (Power Street/Westminster). I highly recommend them both. Fantastic market on Saturday.

Penticton is a charming city in southern British Columbia that comes alive in the spring with blossoming orchards everywhere. The area is dotted with numerous farms and gardens, making it incredibly picturesque. The city is surrounded by stunning lakes and the breathtaking nature of British Columbia. The towns in the area have a resort-like feel, with excellent infrastructure and a very welcoming atmosphere. It’s a beautiful place to visit and experience.

Pentiction is a beautiful location...nestled between 2 lakes with gorgeous beaches. There is rail-trail bike riding ..... up to a tunnel on the north-east side of Okanagan Lake and a great ride along Skaha Lake to Okanagan Falls. There is some challenging mountain-bike trails called Three Blind Mice and Campbell Mountain. Lots of restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, shopping along Main Street, etc. Fabulous for families with a small beach-town feel !

We liked the fact that Penticton doesn't have tall buildings. We live in Kelowna but if we could we would move to Penticton. Penticton is close to hiking trails, cycling paths, lakes to enjoy the beaches for swimming, kayaking and boating. There are a number of restaurants and pubs for eating out.

I don't remember asking for a quiet room - just one on the lower floor so we didn't have to carry heavy boxes up stairs. We love the Okanagan end of Penticton & this hotel definitely is the place to stay! We returned after the weekend for 2 more nights & will definitely stay there again next year!
