Lovely hotel which I find is one of the best Comfort hotels I ever stayed in the past. Breakfast is very good, staff is very nice and helpful, room is lovely, beds are very comfortable, swimming pool is beautiful. Clean and nice hotel. Loved the location as it has joined door with Kelseys which was very convenient for my senior parents to go to when they need a meal. It is also very close to the down town, just 8min drive. The hotel exceeded my expectations

It was a very pretty house with nice appliances. The washing machine was very useful for us after some traveling, and it has a dryer included in it—perfect! There was a coffee machine with enough coffee. The house also had a guitar, so we could play some with my son.

We were there for one night and everything was pretty perfect. A hearty, tasty breakfast ♥️ — just missing a bit of vegetables to dilute its density 😉. There is coffee and tea in the lobby, and parking is free. Keep in mind that: * they withdraw a $100 CAD deposit with a physical card only — not with contactless payment, *there’s no freezer compartment in the room’s fridge. Overall, it’s a good-quality hotel.

    Good experience visiting sites including Trent University...

    Good experience visiting sites including Trent University where our daughter graduated from. The weather was cold and windy so we did NOT get to the zoo. Down town is clean and there are good eateries.

    Loved the free zoo!!

    Loved the free zoo!! We packed a picnic lunch & played at the park. We also really enjoyed checking out the boat locks. 241 pizza was delicious & quick for a large order. The view of water was nice near our hotel “holiday inn waterfront” Overall great place to visit!

    Had a most restful holiday in Peterborough. A “ feel right-at-home” environment. A remarkably friendly staff at the hotel we stayed at ( Best Western) Special thanks to these folks, who made our stay so pleasant!

    Peterborough has beautiful green spaces and lots of hiking...

    Peterborough has beautiful green spaces and lots of hiking trials. The University offers many cultural events open to the public (i.e. Powwow). Plus the campus is beautiful even in the winter months. Also, there are many shopping options and not far to Oshawa or Go Train to Toronto.

    It has been many years since I’ve been to Peterborough and I...

    It has been many years since I’ve been to Peterborough and I was shocked at the degradation over large part of the downtown… Graffiti and lots of homeless with obvious signs of prolific drug use. In three days I was there I never saw a single police officer. I did not feel safe in the downtown. It’s no longer the beautiful city I remember and would never consider retiring there.

    The lovely breakfast, I liked it but I have a suggestion ; if you add tomato and cucumber to your buffet it could be perfect as the juicy texture of tomato and freshness of cucumber brings more taste to your delicious buffet and makes it complete. The location is great , the architect of the area and its river view reminds me of European hotels . I had one of my best stay in there . Thanks a lot 🌹

    Pool floor was extremly run down. The paint would peel of and stick to the feet. Guest would stay on hallway whole night and drink & party loud. I would expect from the employees to try to keep it down. I cannceled our 2nd stay next week booked another hotel.
